Re: Gale
Gale really getting back to his best form and is looking a bargain buy and could well help take Leeds back to Old Trafford this year whilst we still dream of the future with Truey and Richardson , who if they progress well will be long gone before we reach the promised land.
Re: Gale
Hope if Gale does he dosnt give it another bottle job and get totally schooled by the opposing half back ?Sharlotiger wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 14:38 Gale really getting back to his best form and is looking a bargain buy and could well help take Leeds back to Old Trafford this year whilst we still dream of the future with Truey and Richardson , who if they progress well will be long gone before we reach the promised land.

Re: Gale
Haven't watched loads of Leeds games this year, but I'm still more than happy with the deal. Don't think you can make much of last night, Toronoto made lui look like greg eden at full speed last night.
His kicking in open play was OK and only had to find a basic pass most of the times.
Im much happier with Richardson

Re: Gale
Maybe but if Gale leads Leeds back to Old Trafford he will have been worth every penny. Leeds are about success now not years and years down the line.Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 20:36And how long gone will Gale be by then?Sharlotiger wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 14:38 Gale really getting back to his best form and is looking a bargain buy and could well help take Leeds back to Old Trafford this year whilst we still dream of the future with Truey and Richardson , who if they progress well will be long gone before we reach the promised land.

Never seen Gale kick as well in a game as Richardson did tonight.Sharlotiger wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 21:47Maybe but if Gale leads Leeds back to Old Trafford he will have been worth every penny. Re: Gale
Richardson is the better player, now, and in 5 years.
Good business by Cas.
Leeds are just getting publicity because the media think they are back.

Nobody saying Richardson poor love to see him with Gale instead off Trueman we would have def won tonight easy if being Richardson and Gale at halfs not even a argument against that I would not off thoughtAndrew6666 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 23:58 Richardson is the better player, now, and in 5 years.

Re: Gale
It’s all hypothetical. I actually think that Richardson and Gale are too similar and probably wouldn’t work as a pair.on side wrote: ↑07 Mar 2020, 00:02Nobody saying Richardson poor love to see him with Gale instead off Trueman we would have def won tonight easy if being Richardson and Gale at halfs not even a argument against that I would not off thoughtAndrew6666 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 23:58 Richardson is the better player, now, and in 5 years.

But we’ll never know, because they won’t play together.
Our half backs are Richardson and Trueman and we need to get behind them both.
Re: Gale
I'd let DR call game more than mcshane he seems to lose plot when pressure at its height
We need Wattsy back and another prop like him to scatter players we wont be far away this season either way

Re: Gale
Trueman needs to pick up some of that Richardson/Gale arrogance/swagger and force his game. He can go quiet.on side wrote: ↑07 Mar 2020, 00:02Nobody saying Richardson poor love to see him with Gale instead off Trueman we would have def won tonight easy if being Richardson and Gale at halfs not even a argument against that I would not off thoughtAndrew6666 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 23:58 Richardson is the better player, now, and in 5 years.

In terms of the sale of Gale for Richardson - I would still take Richardson.

Re: Gale
Well I was at them all and of course I accept his drop goal attempts don’t compare with Gale’s in the semi. I also think that Gale’s all round game was better than Richardson’s currently is, but I thought Richardson’s kicking tonight was better than I have seen for some years.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 23:53Warrington away 2016.Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 23:43Never seen Gale kick as well in a game as Richardson did tonight.Sharlotiger wrote: ↑06 Mar 2020, 21:47Maybe but if Gale leads Leeds back to Old Trafford he will have been worth every penny. Probably my memory is going, although I do recall the constant moaning there was about Gale’s in play kicking on this site.

Re: Gale
Don't regret Gale going at all. We stood by him as a club throughout his injuries and then wanted to leave when he was just about fit. He's obviously not 100% fit cos he's not kicking. He was good for us when he was fit but you can't and don't want to keep a player if he wants to leave. Wouldn't it be ironic if we smashed him when he returns COYF

Re: Gale
Where was Gale at Trueman’s age? Cas effectively revived Gale’s career, he became a major force thanks to Cas.
Re: Gale
Gale his history Richardson is the future, when we had Rangi and he was playing at the top of his game an away supporter said to me how will you manage if he leaves, my answer was like we have always done i must have seen 30 or more players with that shirt number on , players come and go its us who stand on the terrace who are in for the long haul
Re: Gale
Gale was enticed away by his agent who is a die hard Leeds fan, The same agent who enticed Callom Mclennon, not to re sign, and switch for a LIFE changing contract in RU, only for him to spend 5 or 6 months their before signing for Leeds
