The pre match 'Warm Up'.

Post by stevieblunder » 15 Feb 2020, 22:07

Am I the only one who can predict how we will perform when watching the 'Warm Up'.?

One or two comments mentioned this negatively about today's game.

Certainly, at home I can read a lot about how the game will go.

Maybe its just a coincidence.

Intensity in the pre match seems to lead to a good start and game performance.

Yes they flew out from newcastle in 2017 and plane was delayed. They did not get to perpignan until 3 hours before kick off. There was problems with plane and had to wait for replacement.

Might be coincidence but we do always seem to put in sub-standard efforts when we don't arrive for a game on the same day as per normal

Not that it matters but it was Leeds-Bradford but yes they flew in and out the same day.

I know it was newcastle because my mates son was in u19s who played same day and they flew in on same plane. They got changed on bus to ground and straight off bus for warm up.

That almost makes as knowledgable and as correct as Brayton then Stevie.

If only you had played the game you would be an expert :-" :-" :-"

Or maybe Catalan had a better team and better players on the day and that’s why they beat us ..... just a thought 💭??

Rugby like most sports is won and lost by small margins, the warm up for example can be taken for granted. Being too intense or not intense enough prior to a game can have a negative impact on a player. Although it all comes down to the individual and it is there responsibility (with the coaches help) to be in the right frame of mind come kick off.
