Some people on here were adamant that he was not going to be good enough. He must feel so smug right now. Just two games in and he is showing what a great signing he is.

I’m very happy we have him on board.

2 games in let's not get carried away a long road ahead. But I do agree with comments let's just stay focused and injury free. Start getting troops back and see where we stand further into the season. But as stated a good start let's keep the momentum up. COYF

I thought Olpherts was just one of many stand outs last night and really stepped up from any performance I've seen from him before so credit to him and the coaching staff. Heart, pace and a decent step while still willing to do the hard yards. On that form would be difficult to leave out. Competition for places once we get players back can only be a good thing.

He certainly doesn't mind taking the ball in early on in sets and getting some good yards.! Been pretty impressed so far. Will be interesting to see what kind of pace he has too when the track dries up.

He reminds me of a taller, stronger, faster version of Michael Wainwright

he made a lot of yardage from the play of the ball running powerfully and really was a handful.i've been really pleased with the attitude shown by all the boys so far.

Surprised, yes. You've gotta take your hat off to the bloke cos he's obviously been putting some hard work in, and is paying off out on the pitch. He obviously wants to play for the club and do well, so let's get behind the bloke, he could well be the signing of the season 🐯 COYF 💪

Well it's early in the season, but given that posters here were convinced that he'd be terrible, wasn't good enough, is blind in one eye and has somehow managed to con professional rugby medics about it for years, etc. etc. etc... Then he's started well.

Hope he continues to prove those people wrong.

He is!! 200% truth ... I will swear on anything, it’s a solid Gold fact!! ... just because you don’t believe it, doesn’t make it not true, Hope Powell doesn’t ask him to switch sides or he will have to come clean!!

So how come you are so in the know yet everyone in RL isn’t?

I don’t doubt what you say as you appear to know but it’s rather odd that the powers that be at Salford and Cas don’t know what you do.

Or do they?

He has had a cracking start to his Cas season, albeit only 2 games but give the guy a chance and some credit for what he has done so far.

I know because my daughter went out with him for 5 months and guess what, it was discussed numerous times, like you would if you’re a couple, it’s a fact, 100%!! ... she got sick of him screwing around (like sportsman do!!! and why not I guess, I’d do the same if girls were falling over themselves to be with me because I’m a little bit famous), so she finished with him!! ... believe me or don’t believe me, but he knows he’s blind in one eye, but if he sticks to the side he played on last night, he’ll be OK, if he plays on the other, we will see a lot of passes going into touch or hitting him in the side of the head 😂😂😂
