Disagree he was that late he’d of got there after a northern rail train. Had plenty of time to pull out and dropped his shoulder. Don’t think he can have any complaints luckily wilkin wasn’t injured

Deserved more so he got away with it week before big blow for us gives some one else a chance to step in. It is a shame as he was really good this week.
On another note think smithies should have got a ban hand defo moves up to face

Don't ever expect favours from the refs. They're always going to favour the money clubs.

Right decision he didn't need to n shouldn't of done it as the ball was long gone, typical cas fans on Facebook calling it a conspiracy.

What would be the thought process if Morgan Smithies did that to Jake Trueman and got away with it??? Some people fail to see things objectively.

Depends who’s doing the thinking.
Most Cas fans...the whole world is against us, Peanut didn’t get away with it but should be let off with no punishment.
All fans except Wigan’s... the RL always look after Wigan,
Most reasonable fans...how the hell has he got away with that, clearly deserved two games for a cheap late hit.

Seen many a late tackle like that in games.
Not seen one get a two match ban.
The ref usually deals with it on the field, resulting in a penalty.
Don’t think it was an out and out shoulder charge, just a late smash.
I will be keeping my eye out on any other late hits and see what the outcome is.

Don’t have a problem with it. It was a dumb, unnecessary, play and he has got what he deserved.

Agree you will see something like that this weekend go without a ban ,he does seem to have it in him to do daft things tho i remember him getting sent off playing for leigh when they were beating leeds at fev for a ridiculous tackle

It was a lazy, late tackle, fully deserved a ban.
It appears a lot of Cas fans have a chip on their shoulders.

Hows an opinion a chip
Show me a late challenge from the past (not a shoulder charge) a smash that got a two match ban And I’ll take it back.

It deserves a ban. Anybody that thinks different wants to try and take a tackle like that where you've just relaxed your body and not expecting someone to come in and smash you.... . Maybe you'll think differently then.

2 matches is fair, Chris Hill should of got longer.

I’m not saying it doesn’t deserve a ban, I’m saying show me where another player as been banned for two games for the same tackle.
I can’t remember any, it’s usually dealt with by the ref, resulting in a penalty.
Smithies should have copped a ban due to him gouging.
But it’s Wigan so we’ll turn a blind eye.

But the judiciary didn’t turn a blind eye. If you take time to read the disciplinary notes it clearly states that the video evidence was inconclusive with the footage they had available.
I’d also point out that had smithies been caught on camera it would been all over social media which it hasn’t.

I tend to agree that as supporters we need to stop thinking we are hard done by,for the record there is a element of fans at every club that think the same.
It’s early in the season and like players the disciplinary will be keen to clamp down on certain things in the hope players clean up there act.
