Hello ello, quiet in here have we won or something? was the end of the world the other week when they beat us in a friendly.
Some wonderful stuff played and the squad looks stronger than the past couple of years especially the backs. Not what sky wanted but hey ho, business as usual putting McDermott to the sword at Headingley.

Best thing for me Eden and Olpherts played well for example sure now Powell is saying let it mean something getting a starting jumper will be competion for a number of places when some of injured players return sure like I say that's what the coach wants

Having watched today. I do think we will comfortably at leeds
Not a bad guess. Should have been more, but given players injuries, think it was more game management in the 2nd half. Pluses for me Trueman with the freedom to play, the 2 wingers and the cas strength in depth. Despite all the injuries, still completed a comfortable win.

Pleased with the win. Blair in the 2nd two and playing well is a pleasant surprise. Cannot read too much into the win as i feel Toronto look worse than London did last year.

Was worried to be fair before this game, looking bright now though. Lots of positives going forward

Good to get 2 points on the board, that's all that ever matters first game of the season.

Mata'tiuas best game in a Cas shirt for me.

Really good to see Powell and Eden shaking hands at the end and Powell hugging him. Hopefully that feud is now put to bed.

Yes sky made a big point of showing that clip. Eden's been tested and has stood up and come back stronger in my opinion. Only one player who could have the speed to score that try and that's Eden

Don’t you think Eden looks more composed and confident with Shenton at the side of him.
Last year he was all over the place, if he can get some consistency, I can’t see him losing his place, maybe olpherts should be looking over his shoulder.

Thought Olpherts looked alright this afternoon actually, wouldn't mind seeing him with some open field and seeing just how quick he is.

You can tell he wants to fight for his spot, he was in some real pain and didn't want to come off when he got injured. He still looked in pain at the end of the game. I thought he played real well today but he needs some consistency to his game to keep his position in the team. Hopefully he can kick on from here as he's the only player in the team capable of a full length try.

Get the feeling Powell thinks Eden was getting too big for his boots. Made him play in pre season at fullback etc. Eden has replied which Powell will be happy about along with the rest of the Cas fans. Nobody likes a cocky sod do they .

Dead pleased for greg Eden
You can see why we let Minikin go with pm putting in a show like that in the centre. Strong & good D.
Cheyse Blair shown good utility too, I genuinely can’t see him anywhere near Matautia on that show.
Makes me wonder if we’ll cash in on a second rower to bring in the elusive missing #1 (Jordan will do for 20)

So much difference now we have two good half backs.
We were easy to defend against last year - everyone knew Trueman was the only play-maker so wherever he went, defences could number up and snuff him out.
Now we’ve got Richardson it gives us so many more options. McShane can go either way and find someone who makes defenders think twice. Both of them can kick too, so defences don’t know which way we are going to go on the last.
I’m looking forward to seeing Richardson and Truman play together. It’s a young and inexperienced partnership, but they could well be the best two English halves in Super League.

All the comentators were praising Wilkin but he looked the same old Wilkin to me, slow, endless mistakes and a couple of penaties given away.

Watching the game on sky this afternoon Jon Wells said one of the key things for him was Mcshane running from marker something he didn't do last season then you've truey and danny running at defences as well and linking with Rankin them 4 look good together obviously tougher test are to come like
