Both Matuitau and Blair are NRL centre's. Based on squad numbers I'd assume based on squad numbers PM is higher in the pecking order.on side wrote: ↑31 Jan 2020, 10:17Why would we have a world class nrl centre on bench surely he's better then matuitiaKB80 wrote: ↑31 Jan 2020, 00:14 As far as I heard in the DP interview.
Holmes, Foster, Mcmeeken, JSL out.
I'd imagine Moors will be out also. Didn't hear him say Feki is out?!
So based on Powell's interview could we be as strong as:
Rankin
Olpherts
Matuitau
Shenton
Feki (?)
Trueman
Richardson
Watts
Mcshane
Millington
Griffin
Hepi
Massey
Smith
Milner
Cook
Blair
Obviously short of second rowers (Blair might be worth a stint there).
Much better than expected if so.
Toronto at Headingley

Well I thought a full off season would have fetched up to is Melbourne form as more people on here thought as well. Maybe we do need to recruit another centre.Fumper27 wrote: ↑31 Jan 2020, 10:48You’re the first poster to ever refer to Blair as “world class”. Good, maybe even very good, but world class???? Re: Toronto at Headingley
Happier we have signed Hopefully, he is a lot better prospect than that French second rower we seemed to be in for with our injuries - Dissaray I think he is. (to continue my crap metaphor/joke)
He is ex French army apparently and was quite senior - Major Dissaray!

Re: Toronto at Headingley
Can’t see Moors playing.
Of the 21, pretty sure we’ll see Brad Martin, Lewis Peachy and James Clare drop out as well as Junior. If Moors plays, I suspect the other player to miss out will be one of Blair/Mata’utia/Shenton. It would be pretty unusual to name a centre on the bench.
All provisional of course. Those 21 have got to get through captain’s run unscathed first.
Re: Toronto at Headingley
Not bad by Smigger. Done his hamstring on Tuesday, named in the squad Friday to play Sunday. Medical treatment has made leaps and bounds as when I did my hamstring playing the game, it certainly took longer than 3 days to recoverTigersbarmy wrote: ↑28 Jan 2020, 21:17 Dan smith has done his hamstring for them asking . Has a time frame been put on junior ?

either tigersbarmy just makes stuff up or his 'contact' is having a right laugh with him feeding him rubbish.
Or maybe there is some miraculous hamstring recovery cream that Milner and Smith are using...

I’d go from that 21
Rankin
Olpherts
Mata’utia
Shenton
Eden
Truman
Richardson
Watts
McShane
Millington
Smith
Blair
Massey
Milner
Moors
Hepi
Smith
Think that should be strong enough to get us over the line.
(Baring any training injuries)

Hepi with either Moors or Blair doing spells would be my guess. I think Hepi has played 2nd row a bit before and we look to be okay for props.North Leeds Tiger wrote: ↑31 Jan 2020, 15:09 will we see the rebirth of Cheyse Blair starting in the second row on Sunday ?.

Re: Toronto at Headingley
Blair for me as never looked like he is going to break any pots in the center , with his size tackling and pace he is worth a punt in the second row
Re: Toronto at Headingley
Lmao bet flow if still reads this be laughing was slated when said Blair would finish up in secound row last year. Probably not turned out to be are best ozzy signing, will See this year hope he smashes it up what ever position he plays.North Leeds Tiger wrote: ↑31 Jan 2020, 15:09 will we see the rebirth of Cheyse Blair starting in the second row on Sunday ?.
