Mike Mcmeeken- Back round 2 when we play Wigan hopefully.
Matt cook- Unsure on Matt, not heard of anything about him in preseason, hopefully he’s fit.
Cheyse Blair- Fit for round 1.
Daniel Smith- Unsure on Dan.
Alex foster- “Long term”.
Liam watts- Fit for round 1.
You heard owt with Michael shenton.
Seen he’s picked an injury up.
Could miss round 1
Not sure how true it is.
Shenton was a head knock. cant play for 6 days. He will have had 2 weeks so unless he has something else will play surely.

JSL didn't he get a dead leg ? 2 weeks should sort that out i would have thought
Just curious as I've never had one, is it normal to use crutches for a dead leg?

He was injured in training yesterday morning. Milner injured mid week in training.

We must be the global capital of hamstring and leg muscle tears. Coincidence or are we missing something?

Is there anyone out there that still thinks it’s just a coincidence that we’re getting all these injuries? Or can we all agree it’s down to training and conditioning

We often hear coaches say, "He will be a much better player with a decent pre-season behind him."

Seems that the last thing they want is a "decent pre-season" - they come out crocked!
Be reasonable - do it my way!

they do the same warm up routine before training as they do before games so how come we aren't picking up loads of injuries in games.

I think coincidence. What’s to say that players aren’t doing extra training in their own time which is causing the injuries? It’s too easy to just blame the S&C team.

That means we have a smaller squad than the wolfmen to pick from, perhaps we can ask for special dispensation from the league.
