Pre season injuries.
Listening to daryl.
Mcmeeken as a torn calf.
Watts hamstring.
Blair as just come back from an unknown injury, Powell didn’t elaborate on what the problem is/was.
He’s still saying moors and foster long term.

Re: Pre season injuries.
McMeeken had a torn quad before pre-season so must be different.

Re: Pre season injuries.
Depends. Could be a slight tear from players over-exerting themselves or doing things in their free time. A lot will be busting a gut to impress and prove themselves.
Pre-season's a weird time because the training is more intense than it would be during the season.

shame Foster and Moors have been so unlucky both 100% players when fit, will we see them back in the team i doubt it, Moors injury was a bad one Foster i cant remember what was wrong with him it seems an age since it append but with the contract system as it is the club as to support them they have family to keep . wishing both a speedy recovery

Re: Pre season injuries.
Ir the lads career as come to an end no doubt the club will try and reach a settlement so they can part company as was done with Benny Roberts

Must’ve missed that when the club confirmed it. Thanks for the update.

Re: Pre season injuries.
Hope not but after his age and injury occurred I wouldn’t be surprised, will definitely be missed but a replacement is needed if we can come to an agreement for him to be released.

Excellent so were looking at starting season without McMeeken, Watts, Moors and Foster already.
Plus we have 2 more friendlies to get through yet.

Re: Pre season injuries.
DP said Watts could be back for the Toronto friendly and that's what we're aiming for.
McMeeken is only out Round 1 potentially.

Re: Pre season injuries.
I have a sneaky feeling he may of had the ankle injury before he even started pre season training. Think they'll do well to get half a season out of him if I'm honest.
