Robbie Storey and Lewis Carr named in the York squad on DR to play Halifax this Sunday.

Can only be good news for both

i am a fan of Robbie Storey the lad as a good engine and puts himself about, Lewis top try scorer two seasons ago an excellent finisher with what i saw last year the lad needs to boost is energy level up, good news for them both being loaned out in can only do them good

2 years ago Lewis would have been 10-15kg lighter than what he is now, obviously that extra weight muscle takes a bit of stamina away. It’s a balancing act of been the right size to play against men and been too big to be able to play for 80 minutes.

It's a bugger if a player of Carrs age playing on wing as stamina problems ?
I watched him last week thought he was coming on nicely

i went to the "meet the new signings" last week and amongst the questions the players were asked was "which of the youngsters you have seen at the club do you think will make it" every one of them said 16 year old bailey hodgson was unbelievable for his age. first team will probably come a little early for him this year but i'm expecting him to maybe get a game in the reserves.
