Don't think you will be far way with them predictions
My personal pick would be start Griffin have Mautautia on bench for Foster if I was picking my strongest team at mo

I’ve picked squad numbers rather than strongest team tbh and junior in 17 rather than foster twice

Squad numbers don't mean too much these days. I think the only ones which give any sign of definite first choice picks are 1,6,7,9. The rest I think it doesn't matter what number you have.

Can see Pete playing a lot in the centre this year to back up Blair and Shenny. Can see Clair and Olpherts giving it a good go to push Eden who needs to go back to 2017 form to keep his spot.

Watts is the only guarantee in the forwards for me. After that any forward could take the other spots.

Ive mentioned it before, but its worth a mention again.

I will not be surprised at all to see Blair playing on the wing this year, played a lot of his NRL career there........

Rankin
Feki
Shenton
Matautia
Blair

Will at some point end up being our go to back 5 I think, its just a hunch, time will tell..........

Not a chance will he drop Eden accommodate Blair on the wing. Eden is the only speedy back we have, that backline would be the slowest in Super League by a fair distance.

I'm with you, Eden is by far our quickest player without him there is no break away tries. If anything Mata'utia should be used as a sub or utility covering centre, full back and half back.

i think a lot of places will be up for grabs ,thats what Danny Orr was suggesting with how players are ripping in at training trying to prove a point
Eden would be one of first names down on my team sheet all things being equal...

Matautia's utility back will see him as good cover from the bench but I can't see him being on there when with a fully fit pack since we can dominate teams that way. In terms of squad numbers, can't see much changing from last year:

1. Rankin
2. Feki
3. Blair
4. Shenton
5. Eden
6. Trueman
7. Richardson
8. Watts
9. McShane
10. Millington
11. Holmes
12. McMeeken
13. Milner
14. Massey
15. Sene-Lefao
16. Moors
17. Matautia
18. Cook
19. Griffin
20. Foster
21. Smith
22. Olpherts
23. Hepi
24. Turner
25. Peachey
26. O'Neill
27. Carr
28. Storey
29. Graham
30. Jinks
31. Summers
32. NEW SIGNING - (mid-season signing?)

Knew there would be one I'd forget. Clare at 22, with everyone else moving down one.
