Apparently the much aligned Olpherts has been phenomenal in pre season and has earned first crack at the right wing spot.

I'd have Mautautia at centre ever day of week over Blair think he will have a good season
Still be surprised if big signing from Melbourne not given starting centre jumper tho

I thought Olpherts looked quite strong in the friendly against Bradford (and, yes, I know the second part of that sentence somewhat tapers the first). He ran the ball in well and went looking for work.

Sense a real competition for places this year.dont think squad numbers mean too much.say Olpherts gets 5 then as 2 poor games then I imagine Clare or eden will be straight in.same for the rest of the 1-13
