As it stands, we don’t have a non-fed spot available to sign any of them.
Mata’utia, Millington, Sene-Lafeo, Rankin, Moors, Blair and Feki take up the seven spots we are allowed.
shame that mate there was some real diamonds in the PNG side may be next year

If it is JSL last season he will be a huge loss. His enthusiasm is second to none on and off the pitch.

spoke to one of the players a couple of nights ago, he said they are training the house down. some have come back earlier than they needed to and some are doing voluntary extra's.
thinks its all down to squad depth and competition for places in the pack. no one guarrenteed a place this year.

We have an improved squad on last year for sure. If we can stay injury free we should be much better.

However I also think Wigan and Warrington will be better

The lads look to have got the spark back looking at the promo videos. something that’s not been seen since 2017. A happy workforce is a good workforce

The Png no 9 turned the game with his speed from the dummy half in the second half then other players joined in picking the ball up at speed from marker and making a lot of meteres
Something we lacked at Cas for a lot of last season

What they do in a one-off home test match with a fanatical crowd and national patriotism behind them is totally different to the weekly grind in all weathers in England.

Sounds like Hepi is getting big wraps in early pre Season along with Griffin. 100% an improvement on the back ups we had last year.

If we stay injury free on the forwards it could be very tough to pick a team to play for DP.

There's not many, if any other teams in the league that can boast of having forwards like that in abundance.

Is Chase recovered enough to be involved.
Last season the concensus was he would go much better in 2020 in a more settled team and with a full preseason to know the plays etc.
I was neither critical or overenthused by him.
Big strong lad, so l am hoping ge will have a much better season and silence his detractors.

The jury is still out for me with Blair , in his defence we did not leak the amount of trys down that side as we did before he came , his attacking flair we hardly ever saw, 2/3 trys he scored over 16 weeks , was it the foot injury he sustained before he came over that was holding him back, with a rest and a settled side lets hope he will prove to be good signing

Well, he has a pre-season to get everything right with Feki. This could either be one of the best partnerships in the league, or go [REMOVED] up pretty quick.

I agree there should be a fight for places right across the board ,you mentioned Blair somewhere else Matautia who i still think would be very good playing in the centres should be pushing for a starting spot ,Turner not a player ive given up on should be pushing Rankin at full back
the BOOKIES and people saying nowt down for us are ignoring all coach Powell as achieved since hes been at the club
I was down when i heard Gale was leaving till i found out despite the club paying his wages for a year and a half and him not playing and turning him into a England standard player he asked to leave... if players want to go elsewhere or not fight for there place at Cas they can (REMOVED)off for me

This. The Boas brothers and Thompson Teteh came to Fev last year amidst a fair bit of hype. Ase Boas lasted only a few ineffective games before he quietly went back home and Watson, who had some good moments but still fell a bit short in some areas of his game, was ushered out to Doncaster on loan a few weeks later. Teteh spent much of the season injured and then had his contract swiftly ended after allegations not dissimilar to those that had been made towards Garry Lo.
