Fine by me, back to back double header in a great stadium, which we have a great record at. Also good for a few bevvies is Headingley before match. Must be a weekend game as well unless first game kicks off at teatime on a Thursday or Friday. What is there not to like? Bring it on, I’m bored of off season already!
I imagine we'll be the 1st game on the Saturday afternoon.
That'd be good, can get a car parking space and leave before the 2 poor teams come out.
One problem will be where to put us, especially if you want Hull in the.away end. They won't want either us or Hull in the south stand.

Why is Castleford always given the newly promoted team as first game?
Leigh, London, now Toronto...
Anyone would think the rfl are hoping we'll slip up against a 'relegation rival'
it was shakey wakey last year who were given newly promoted bronco's.
and they lost.

The club has clearly made a decision to move to Friday nights.
Nice to be consulted. Oh we were and the vast majority wanted Sundays.

No they haven't but want to have a set amount of days between fixtures helps the body. Otherwise its sometimes 10 days between and others 4.
We might as well change to Fridays and maybe have one match a year in a Sunday which we could designate as a heritage round, wearing the heritage kit.
Only 3 matches on a Thursday, that's got to be better.

I think it's a VERY favourable fixture list:
Toronto will be the weakest team. We play them three times, twice in the UK.
We play Catalans three times, but we only travel to France once. They tend to struggle more than most away from home.
We've got Huddersfield three times. They were pretty poor last year and I don't see how they have improved (yet).
We've got Wigan three times, but only once away. Same with Hull FC. Places we struggle to win. If we have to play them three times, I'd rather these be the teams we play twice at home.
The teams we play away from home twice are not teams who use it to great advantage (Warrington and Leeds).
We only play Saints twice.
Three of our last four fixtures are home games (Toronto, Warrington and Huddersfield). The other is Leeds away. That could be a significant advantage. Three home games from the last four and only one against a team who finished in the top half in 2019.
I think the loop fixtures generally, Magic, our home/away loop fixtures and the run-in have fallen well for us.

The vast majority also want fewer games moved, and moving to Friday does this.
The club can't win on this one.

The fixtures haven't been very kind this year. Catalan away in Feb. Toronto away 2 weeks after Magic Weekend. What a shame.

Why have we lost our traditional Easter fixture with the 'pussies'?
Hudds Easter Sunday home is hardly a crowd drawing fixture when other teams have retained their usual fixture viz Hull/Hull KR, Wigan/Saints.. it appears that the Rhinos have now Wakey instead of us.
