Just looking through all the stuff on the BBC about the RU WC final tomorrow regarding Farrell and Ford, made me think back to just how good Fordy Snr. was for us when he was at Cas.

Even though the old memory isn't what is was he was about the last half back we had from over the Pennines until Richardson joins us next year I think?

We have had a few good Lancashire forward imports over the years (Richard Russell and the legendary Tony 'Fearless Morrison' being just two from the same era) and we sent Danny Orr and Casper Smith over their way, but has Fordy been our only star from across the hill?
