I would presume we'd have one against Fev on boxing day. At home I'll go but not away.

York wouldn't be a bad choice if they play their first team.

We didn’t play Fev on Boxing Day last year the fixture was on the 30th.

Fev announced their pre season friendlies and we don’t figure in them

Good. After their fans behaviour in the WRE last year I would hope that a fixture against them wasn’t even considered.

Newcastle, York, Hull, Wakefield would be my guesses.

Don't think we'll play Boxing Day either. Think it will be:

Sunday 29th (Mixed)
Sunday 11th (Mixed)
Friday 23rd (Reserves/Fringe players)
Sunday 25th

Week away between 11th and 23rd, hopefully in the UK.

Shenton's testimonial will be a friendly against Toronto (in Jan), by all accounts.

Why Toronto? I'd of thought a rival or St Helens, the only other team he's played for.

Hope it generates the inxome he deserves.
Love the poetic prose
Quaintly crumbling etc.
Makes for a set from Father Brown.
Might be a chance to see SBW.

How can WR be “charmingly crumbling”?

It’s simply crumbling, as I am, with no hint of charm.

“Hanging by a thread crumbling”. Loved by most Cas fans, as one loves a decrepit Great-Grandad.

How about ‘charmingly crumbling with third world toilets’ ?
