How anyone can think that Chris Hill has been better than Liam Watts is beyond me
However, from a selfish point of view, I’d rather Watts have a nice, long and restful off-season. Last thing we need him doing is travelling around the world getting bashed around. I feel sorry for him on a personal level as I’m sure he’d love to go, but this might be the best thing for us as a club.
Also surprised there is no Niall Evalds. He’s been the stand-out full back this year. Hardaker has been good at times, but he’s put in some abysmal performances too, particularly against good teams. I would have gone with Coote and Evalds, who I think have both been better than Hardaker. There’s also a very real risk taking a character like Zak on a tour to the other side of the world. He can’t behave on his own doorstep.

No overrated Stevie Ward  he must be in there somewhere, I'm not buying it.

It’s a very strange squad.
Only five props to cover all the series (teams usually use four props per game), yet five half backs are included (only two needed per game).
Only two wingers too. Hall has barely played all year and McGilvary shouldn’t be in there on this year’s form. No cover for beyond that.

Liam will be drafted into the squad after the 9s that's if he does not have any injury concerns. Like an earlier post said who in their right mind would not plck him. One of the stand out player's this year. But if he doesn't just stay safe for next year and let's take the league by storm. Coyf

The 24 man squad has been announced so can't be drafted.

Can't watch international Rugby League especially when a GB squad includes Aussies, and the Aussie squad includes Islanders (as does the NZ squad). Makes a farce of it. Would be better to play SL squad vs NRL squad - would make more sense.

All international sport is like that now. You only have to look at the RU World Cup squads to see that.

Its dressing something up to be something it's not. It should be place of birth per birth certificate, not because your distant great grandmother once visited another country. I would also look at SL vs NRL, Premier League vs La Liga (football) as it seems easier.
