Duel reg with York next season
Duel reg with York next season

Re: Duel reg with York next season
Think it helps both ways tbh. Our fringe players get to play first team rugby and those who dont play at York help our A team. Stops us knocking on the doors of our local amateur teams to fill in.
Also get the feeling that we have 'identified' Ford as Powell's replacement when he decides to retire.

Out of interest when is York's new stadium finished?
Maybe some of these fringe players will like their new surroundings a little too much...

Was just about to say the same. Although Fev are pushing hard for him to be their head coach for 2020, but can't see him leaving York any time soon.SWISS TONY!! wrote: ↑14 Oct 2019, 12:16Also get the feeling that we have 'identified' Ford as Powell's replacement when he decides to retire.

That's the rumour but I understadn Fev's owner is a big fan of James Ford, shared many a pint with him at Fev games.

Webster deserves a chance, he has had the [REMOVED] end of the stick so far in his career, I think he will do well at the cappersFryston Tiger wrote: ↑14 Oct 2019, 17:12James Webster, ex-Hull KR, is Fev's new Coach isn't he?heritage1926 wrote: ↑14 Oct 2019, 12:26Was just about to say the same. Would be good to get Ford doing some work down at Cas like Carr did at Leeds last year, could be a shot in the arm our coaching team needs and shake them up a bit.

Now Toronto are finally gone, some 'smaller' teams have a genuine chance of coming up to Super League. Toulouse and London the obvious favourites, closely followed by Leigh, York, Fev and Halifax. Hope Sky see the potential and put Championship games on TV next season!
