Injury Update
Injury Update
Matt Crowther gives us all an injury update.
Blair did injure himself against Warrington but played on. Should be ok for pre season.
McMeekan serious dead leg which could make him miss start of pre season but will be ok.
Junior and Foster will be out until season starts and may miss start of season.
The rest will be good to go for pre season as long as the international lads are ok.

Re: Injury Update
Doesn't sound great for Junior. I think best we can hope for next year with him is a squad player. Really bad injury which I'm not sure he will ever fully recover from.
Re: Injury Update
Heard we were looking to come to some sort of agreement with him to call it a day don't know if that's true or not

Re: Injury Update
Could be worse
Re: Injury Update
Didn’t JM get injured from a bad tackle by Jackson Hastings
Re: Injury Update
Foster is one to worry about i know its not his fault he got injured, but having over twelve months out is hell of a time for any injury when our lads go down they are certainly out for a length of time, we have lads from Salford and may be St Helens coming in, these lads should be quizzed on how their teams have kept so fit

Big question marks on Junior coming back to full fitness for me.

Re: Injury Update
Definitely. A real shame if you're right. At his best with us he was unplayable at times.duke street 10 wrote: ↑13 Oct 2019, 12:00 Big question marks on Junior coming back to full fitness for me.

Yep. when he got a roll on he'd take two or three to drag down, and his off loads were an asset.SuffolkTiger wrote: ↑13 Oct 2019, 12:48Definitely. A real shame if you're right. Re: Injury Update
Serious questions have to be asked about moors and foster. No pressure season for both........Swagger wrote: ↑12 Oct 2019, 20:00 Matt Crowther gives us all an injury update.

Moors will be done after 2020 anyway.
Foster is on a long term contract, be tempted to get rid if we can. New sicknote.
Re: Injury Update
You might all have to chip in to pay off the remainder of their contracts

Re: Injury Update
We have a recent history of coming to a agreement with players so they leave there contracts early
Foster no idea with him how long he's got left or what his injury status is

Re: Injury Update
Yeah, said he could’ve played had we beaten Salford. Will be back for first day of pre season

Re: Injury Update
So the update says all back for the season start.Good news.
Hoping our international players don't get injured, but seeing that it's Bennett in charge, they probably won't get a game.

Re: Injury Update
I also hear Feki will be with us at some point in November, so everything's looking good at the minute.
Re: Injury Update
Not really, Jnr won’t be, nor foster.
Junior is a massive part of our pack.
Instead of in detail Injury update I’d much prefer a ‘rebuild and analysis of squad is underway’ type message,

Re: Injury Update
Well I can see the rebuild taking place already. Some enforced some not.
We have some money in the pot if we need it and the board haven't been stopping us get the right players. Some don't pay off some do.
But we've lost, all bar gale, players who wouldn't have been in the starting 17 if everyone was fit. But gained Feki, Griffin. Richardson (when announced), who should be in the 17.
In regards Foster and junior they may be ready for the start of the season but will go into a mini pre season, unless we get another horrific injury list.

Re: Injury Update
From where I’m sat, there isn’t anything positive happening to push us into a top 4 team again.
We desperately need a full shake up and new blood brought in but I genuinely fear the quality we need will not be acquired by Wells.
