Nice suggestion, but the MW games are extra to the normal home/away fixtures...

Not sure why it isn’t 1st v 2nd and 3rd v 4th etc . It’s not a cup match where the top 2 avoid each other ??

Thankfully not. I'm looking forward to the Canada trip next year.

Already looking at the logistics for the game with the Wolfpack, hopefully will miss the big holiday weekends over there as the prices rocket. Tigers in Toronto be a once in a lifetime thing for me,but would be rude not to!

Is this a first, Super League actually listening to what the fans want?

They had to with this one. Liverpool last year was a sham. I went and wouldn't of gone back had it been at Anfield again, no chance. Even the Lancashire clubs who are down the road didn’t take the numbers the RFL probably thought. Great move taking it back to Newcastle mind, fun city, great stadium, plenty to do – no brainer.

Sadly, it's nothing more than politics by the rugby league clubs and self interest than a decision based on sound business rationale and what's going to benefit the game the most.

5 Lancashire clubs voted for Liverpool
6 Yorkshire clubs voted for Newcastle.

Wonder why...probably because they want to play at the closest location that gives them an advantage.

Maybe but it’s the right choice
I wouldn’t go to Anfield again like many I have talked to

With the "loop" fixtures, some unlucky team will have to play Toronto twice at their ground.

Think I've seen a post on Facey saying this won't happen. They've agreed to play each team only once at home.

Think the plan is that the three who are facing them in the loop fixtures away will play them early on in the season in the more closer destinations (e.g. Dublin) meaning everyone only has to travel to Toronto once.

If that's the case then sign us up! a weekend in Dublin watching Cas at the Aviva would be a dream.

So when are the Magic weekend fixtures released?
Do we have to wait for the SL fixture list?

If it's the same format as this years fixtures then it would be 5th v 7th, so Catalans.

We normally go for just the day Cas are playing and stay overnight the night after the game, so I’d really like the schedule.
Any idea when it will be published?

At a guess it will be the same time as the weekly fixtures.

5th Vs 7th would be Catalans if it's same format.

If is the case, expect an EARLY Saturday or Sunday kick off.

My guess will be ;
Saturday
G1 Hudds Vs Toronto
G2 Saints Vs Salford
G3 Hull Vs Leeds

Sunday
G1 Cas Vs Catalan
G2 Wakey Vs Hull KR
G3 Wigan Vs Warrington

Unless they move Toronto KO later for a reasonable Toronto time KO so fans back home don't have to get up early to watch.

They’ll probably move that fixture to Toronto, otherwise everyone will still be in the pub when it’s on!
