Correct. Rugby in Newcastle is thriving right now, even without the Magic Weekend.

They are also on the brink of promotion if they beat Oldham this weekend. Imagine the weekend away if Thunder get in to Super League. I also see our very own Kieran Gill broke a try scoring record for them last weekend and scored the most tries in a season.

Cas v wakey, Leeds v hudds. That's competitive for a start. However, we'll get Wigan, wire or saints.

Competition says 1 v 2, 3 v 4 etc so hull

Last year 1 v 3, Hull 4 v hudds 5, Leeds 9 v London 12.so wire and leeds getting Oldham or who ever they fancy.

For me local derbies but no loop fixtures so it's competitive. Saints v Wire, Salford v wigan, Cas v wakey, Leeds v hudds Hull v Jr, Toronto v catalans

If it's based on last year's format, these are the fixtures (based on 1 v 3, 2 v 4 etc)

Saints v Salford (GF rematch)
Wigan v Wire
Cas v Catalans
Hull v Leeds
Wakefield v Hull KR
Huddersfield v Toronto

If that's the case I can see it running something like

Hudds v Toronto
Cas v Catalans
Hull v Leeds

Wakefield v Hull KR
Saints v Salford
Wigan v Wire

That's the most even the games have looked for years to be fair.

Nice suggestion, but the MW games are extra to the normal home/away fixtures...

Not sure why it isn’t 1st v 2nd and 3rd v 4th etc . It’s not a cup match where the top 2 avoid each other ??

Already looking at the logistics for the game with the Wolfpack, hopefully will miss the big holiday weekends over there as the prices rocket. Tigers in Toronto be a once in a lifetime thing for me,but would be rude not to!
