Maybe it's just me being paranoid and I've seen us before have are pants pulled down Hethrington is as crafty as a fox wouldn't surprise me if Leeds had found another option at half backMysterio wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 22:21I have little doubt he will not leave for anything less than £100k, and possibly higher. His contract is worth that legally and usually that is the valuation yardstick, plus compensation.tigerfeat wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 21:44This is what I tried to say this morning it would be bonkers to pay anything close to 150k for himTheSheriff wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 18:57 Richardson to Cas was taken from here.
League Express (IIRC) said Hudds are signing Sezer as a marquee player on £350k.
Would be shocked if any of this is anywhere close to true, Gale's value is basically nil at this point too - wrong side of 30, 2 significant leg injuries in as many years and a handful of games played in the last 2 years.
Imagine the uproar on here if Cas signed a player that could be described like that.

Why we would finally have 3 decent halfbacks.

Re: Luke Gale
Luke Gale had a medical at Leeds on Friday sporting his Castleford track-suit, when it was done he rushed over to Warrington to support the lads. Although I don't want him to go to Leeds, I am sorry to say he presumably has signed for them. Richardson a definite signing.RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 00:32Are you that confident?therailwayendisnigh wrote: ↑21 Sep 2019, 12:21 He did this because he's not leaving. I hope we are not just going with Truman and Richardson, it beggars belief if that is the case

Re: Luke Gale
We would still have Ellis next year, contract wise at least, and we have played Rankin and matautia at half back too. But yeah I echo your sentiments. Believe young Jake sweeting is leaving too, we haven't stated Rankin has been signed for next year yet but I believe it's been done for ages as we
Dont want wardle back. I'd be pushing for young Oliver Russel or Tom Holmes I'm any deal with giants

Wouldn't mind Matty English, a 20 year old Super League player with confidence at Huddersfield.SWISS TONY!! wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 12:50 We would still have Ellis next year, contract wise at least, and we have played Rankin and matautia at half back too. The clubs focus should be very much on this week and however long this season as left.
Obviously there are things going on in the background as there always is this time of the year.

I never understand why people are constantly demanding a statement from the club on all number of things. What difference will if make to your lives if you know whether Gayle is going or staying. It’s pretty obvious to me that no announcement will be made while ever our season is still live. I would imagine St Helens will be the same with Richardson too.

Re: Luke Gale
Amazing how many medicals Gale has supposedly had. Is this evidence that people believe anything they hear/they are told? Don’t forget that medical at Leeds while he was with the RLWC2021 team doing that JCB promo for the World Cup?
Leeds fans suspect someone is having a medical on Monday. Perhaps he’s going for a hat trick. Maybe one for each leg, and the other for the rest of him?

Re: Luke Gale
I think personally this combination would be the most exciting half backs pairing in super league. Apart from defensive issues (which can be worked on) I see Richardson as a terrific player. I also don’t think you should be signing half backs because they are good defenders. Let his second rower worry about that for me.classycas57 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 12:42 I hope we are not just going with Truman and Richardson, it beggars belief if that is the case

Because I want to know officially. Nothing for you to understand or for you to need to know how it affects the lives of others.daytona wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 15:31 I never understand why people are constantly demanding a statement from the club on all number of things. It could be very exciting in time but I would say you need a very experienced half back with them for next year.daytona wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 15:38I think personally this combination would be the most exciting half backs pairing in super league. Re: Luke Gale
There seems to be a presumption that Richardson & Trueman will work together as they are both young. Given Jake's form dropped alarmingly when paired with Aston, i hope Gale remains with us.
