There's nowt wrong with Physio, it's the strength and conditioning coach that's rubbish.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 14:27It was going so well until this.
We don't have one of the best sports physio in the country. Or even one of the best in the county. In fact, we probably don't have the best sports physio in Castleford.

Matty Crowther would not have been given the job of GB physio if he didn't know his job,Nobody wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 14:41There's nowt wrong with Physio, it's the strength and conditioning coach that's rubbish.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 14:27It was going so well until this.

Yes true. The conditioning is separate to the rehab. It's the conditioning dept that needs scrutiny

Re: 2020 Squad
Are we going to have this moaning every time a player picks up an injury now?
It's a contact and physical sport that involves running and lots of stress on muscles. Injuries are going to happen.
Coaches and physios can't always control what players do - some do their own fitness work outside of the club. Sometimes players have to know their limits and protect themselves too.
To be honest, the enforced rest will probably do Wattsy good given the amount of minutes and games he played last year and given he's just got back from GB too.

Re: 2020 Squad
And if some people are going with the "other clubs don't get injuries line", here's some examples where this disproves it.
Riley Dean - out 12-14 weeks with dislocated elbow in preseason https://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/sp ... ee-months/
Nick Rawsthorne - out 10 weeks with ankle ligament damage

Micky Mcalorum out injured because he was bitten by his own dog. If that was a Cas player you’d all be calling for it to be put down with immediate effect and all players must be banned from having pets!

She will be working under Matty Crouther and he rated very highly in the sporting community, what will give her the experience she wants to do the job she is hoping for once she finishes her degree, I'm sorry you think our backroom staff are rubbish, but Darrell Powell rates them very highly.Nobody wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 14:41There's nowt wrong with Physio, it's the strength and conditioning coach that's rubbish.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 14:27It was going so well until this.
