I hope Salford lose tonight as I think we can beat them next week. They were fortunate to beat Hull KR last week and a gruelling game at Wigan with a quicker turnover following a defeat should give Cas a decided advantage. Then with the return of McMeeken, Massey and Sene-Lefao we’ll have a better chance of beating Wigan too. Perchance to dream?

That was a long 80mins but was fantastic being with the noisey fans last night. It seems to me that Rankin goes out there and enjoys himself in a way that the rest of the team don't. Yes he has more space to do his thing but are Cas playing very shallow? From behind the sticks it seemed to me Cas had no depth when in possession. Great night.

Tbh the attack as looked clunky all season it's credit to the team theve got this far
The defensive is spot on now and these play off games are mostly 16 -12 18 -14 affairs so I give us a chance

Wonder what one of nottstiger’s polla would say if the question was:

“After seeing the team, who thought we would win”?

I turned to my Dad and said ‘I still have this feeling we’re gonna sneak this’ and he just laughed at me and said ‘as long as we don’t get hammered I’ll be happy’

Does beating Warrington mean that we finish at least 4th for the season? Thinking of how much prize money, etc we could potential earn by progressing in the play offs...

Thought Mata’utia kicking wasn't that bad last night other than a couple of rubbish short kicks.

only made 1 error all game I think, an offload that was never on. He got through some graft last night

Definite Millington replacement, should learn from Big G over the next year.

Agreed. Think he’s gonna turn out to be a very shrewd signing

A lot has been said about our play is not attractive anymore. Well I reckon it is still a darn sight more attractive than any other Super League team excepting Saints at least until we get near the opponents try line when we always try a grubber kick. Ok, it worked on Thursday, but how many times beforehand. The old ‘up and under’ is still the most likely to succeed, but do we have the height in the backs to make it happen. Just my opinion of course.

Claire, Blair and Rankin are hardly dwarfs so I don't think height is the issue.
