Not bad for a “Championship at best” standard player

Peaking at the right end of the season!!!!!
Trueman will never make a Super League player.
Play like that who knows.

For one of the few times this season I actually enjoyed watching them play, bring on the pies.

What a disgrace Connor is telling a good pro like minichello to f off no need for that stuff for me will be well suited if he goes to Leeds

Commentary got it right saying when he’s on his game, Connor is a great player. However, when he’s not his a liability. He’s a proper grub and it was great to see a ref take action for his constant tirade of verbal diarrhoea.

Pretty impressive performance that, given ourselves a chance. Now we need to raise the bar again at Wigan. Hats off to Trueman, he was outstanding. Good to see McShane look something like again as well.

Awesome today, best I’ve seen cas play all season looked threatening from the off, take this into Wigan next week and hopefully into the play offs where I think we will play our best rugby of the season.

I believe the great performance at Saints last week contributed in a very positive way towards the performance and subsequent result tonite. Well done lads, keep it up. The Guinness will go down well this weekend.

Just to add. Tonight summed up everything I love about being a Cas fan. We travelled a long way (as usual) with optimism ( which is regularly rubbished on here as ‘rose/amber tinted) to support our fantastic team which, with all its flaws, frustrations and idiosyncrasies makes at least most of us proud to be from Cas.
Yes, we don’t always get it right, yes, we may think the club is run by muppets, but when a team representing our small town in Wakefield completely destroys a city team full of alleged talent without our star player it not only gets me through the week, it will help to get me through the winter.
I have no illusions that being a Cas fan is anything other than a roller coaster ride, but in my view the highs make it worth the trip and actually, the lows make the highs so much better. Who would have thought 12+years ago we would over a number of seasons have been right up at the top of Super League rather than topping up the budgets of Doncaster, Rochdale and Batley with our away support?
Nights like tonight are what it’s all about.
Thank you Mr Powell. Thank you Cas Tigers. See you at Wigan!
