Re: under 19's
Hi BT
Sorry for late reply. Agree with your outlook for next year. A good crop on the horizon. A couple of brilliant leaders in this years first year 19’s. Coupled with some of this years 16’s we are in with a chance moving forward. Just need the club to get totally serious about youth development now!

it gives me pleasure watching the lads in our system, over the last number of years the lads that have made it have been few and far between , is it we are not signing quality or is it our training system that is not bringing the through ?? when you watch the leagues top two teams their young players seem to fit in seamlessly
Re: under 19's
Surely it’s because the big clubs plough excess money not capped into junior dev. Or is that capped and chained dilligently too..gateman wrote:it gives me pleasure watching the lads in our system, over the last number of years the lads that have made it have been few and far between , is it we are not signing quality or is it our training system that is not bringing the through ?? when you watch the leagues top two teams their young players seem to fit in seamlessly

Re: under 19's
thanks hudds its the venue i really wont to know as they some times play their games at the panthers as well as Weldon rd the KO time will suite me as Normanton second team KO in a final at 2-30 at home so i will be able to fit them both inHuddsTigers wrote:12pm kick off according to all sites including the Cas site.

The lads signed off with a good win over 4th placed Warrington today, the way they played today belied their position in the league, i think the winning margin was 8 points as there was no announcer and we did not get a team sheet thats all the info i can give

Re: under 19's
Bit of a makeshift team with a few players been moved about. Also the final game for quite a few players and I think that allowed them to play with a bit of freedom with no pressure.gateman wrote:The lads signed off with a good win over 4th placed Warrington today, the way they played today belied their position in the league, i think the winning margin was 8 points as there was no announcer and we did not get a team sheet thats all the info i can give
I believe the scorers were Robbie Storey x2 jake sweeting x2 Lewis peachy and Jordan bull with sweeting kicking 4 goals.
Re: under 19's
i Like the way Robbie Storey puts himself about a real work horse is Robbie, Peachey took his try well early on in the game latter i did not see much of him, Lewis Carr does not look half the player he was when he took the young player of the year at the EX players dinner last year,

Re: under 19's
There is a match report on the clubs web site. I think it’s a new match reporter, better late than never I suppose but such a shame it’s taken until the final game of the season, just about sums up how these lads have been treated over the past couple of seasons.
