I'd give him it but as everyone points out, this is the RFL/SL.

This is exactly what I said to the one who knocked Trueman earlier in the season. Behind a beaten pack, no half back can be effective. Not even Jonathan Thurston in his pomp could’ve done any better earlier this year than our very own JT did (also with no recognised HB partner).casjunction wrote: In recent weeks our pack has dominated, our defence has been very good and young Jake has exploited this.

Hi agree but let's not get carried away yet after one game. Like a expert said a good player will play good eight times out off ten but very promising last week confidence is half off battleFumper27 wrote:This is exactly what I said to the one who knocked Trueman earlier in the season. Thanks for that Flow but your opinion on Jake Trueman is well publicised and equally ridiculed.high town tiger wrote:Hi agree but let's not get carried away yet after one game. Put Liam Watts next to Truman when he’s kicking on the last. There’s nobody in the Wigan team with the balls to hit Jake late if they know Wattsy will be next on the scene.daytona wrote:Thought Jesse did a wonderful job protecting Trueman against Hull last week, so we will need more of the same this week. I shudder to think what Willi Isa in particular will have up his sleeve for him.
There was one poster on here HTT who always rubbished JT at every opportunity. It was never easy to read those posts that attacked a young lad when he was doing his best at such tender age when we should all be backing him.high town tiger wrote:Hi agree but let's not get carried away yet after one game. Jamie Ellis definitely had a game I know he can have...SWISS TONY!! wrote:If Wigan have come out and said theyre targeting Trueman, then it's time Ellis had one of the games we know he can play once in a while, just give them something else to worry about
Can always rely on Jamie. Remarkably consistent.RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote:Jamie Ellis definitely had a game I know he can have...SWISS TONY!! wrote:If Wigan have come out and said theyre targeting Trueman, then it's time Ellis had one of the games we know he can play once in a while, just give them something else to worry about
