So were we in 2017, we've not kicked on from then! Poor recruitment I'm afraid.

I know people will argue this, because of the injuries we have had this year, but I feel we need to focus on a high quality first team rather than getting a big squad. With the likes of Saints having such a cracking first team, although I think their coach is their main reason for their success, we have to focus on our first 17 being the best we can get and look to youngsters to step in for injuries.

Dosnt matter who your playing no reason to have such a slow line speed against saints it's last thing you need really

Everyone at saints, staff, fans the whole lot believe they're a big team and demand to be near the top

Our lot still have us as a small club who believe it would be nice to compete

The fitness levels of Saints is just unbelievable. Their structure is solid and they know where all their team-mates are at all times. Yes they have some players with skill, but the work done in pre-season and behind the scenes is all down to the coaching team. Very impressive.

I’m in agreement that we haven’t improved the first choice 17 enough since 2017.
Mata’utia was a good signing, but he only replaced Hardaker (and isn’t as good).
I think Blair is a good signing, but he only replaced Webster.
The only player who has improved our first choice 17 is Liam Watts.

Fages doing well for saints .hes set up at least 2 of their trys and scored another...our halfs backs are shocking today.every ball we pass as a 2nd phase play goes to ground or goes to a saints player who runs all way up the other side of the pitch amd next play score.we need to fix up because this is just pathetic with the amount of pens we giving away in saints 20.all i can say is next week they WOULDNT be getting a week off if i was the coch

Out coached AGAIN....when will we learn that to beat a side who constantly are in your face when we have the ball is to put a chip kick over the onrushing defence.
We seen this time and again with Saints but our coaching team seem anbivoulent to this
If se have an aspirations this year armed drastically to change our attack or we can say good bye Vienna to this season

Take Roby out.
Roby gone for 10 mins, we score they don’t.
Obvious who pulls the strings, get into his face.
Salford last week gave saints not an inch of space to play in, they stifled them.
Why haven’t we learnt from this, we just stand back and watch them.
Poor tactics by Powell.

I agree with this. We are sat waiting for them to run into us. Cas do that a lot and when we do move forward we don't move up in unison. You cannot let a team like Saints so much space. Move up together and suffocate them.

We are to busy sitting back and letting saints run at us.just a poor poor performance by us and 20 miss tackles arnt helping us at all..we have to learn to tackle and stick in them not fall off like we are doing.i think its shows that we need a leader on the pitch which we havnt got at the moment in our half backs.trueys short kicking games brilliant but everything else thats hes doing in this game is poor.passes hiting the floor not the player and kicking out on the full.i know hes a young lad but got to be better this 2md half
