Leeds away

Post by daytona » 11 May 2019, 00:17

Not sure how we’ll line up, but I would be tempted to go
1 Watts
2 Watts
3 Watts
4 Blair
5 Watts
6 Aston
7 Watts
8 Watts
9 Watts
10 Millington
11 Watts
12 Mcmeeken
13 Watts

14 Watts
15 Watts
16 Cook
17 Clarkson (real grafter, does loads of tackling and will give Watts a breather)

That line ups got merits. Biggest positive is having a quicker full back.

Need to win. Could be 6 points and much worse GD by end of May off play offs. Season over possibly.

If there was still the middle eights like there as been last few years we would be in big trouble

As I posted on another post:

Mata’utia
Minikin
McMeeken
Blair
Eden
Trueman
Aston
Watts
McShane
Smith (if fit)
Sene-Lefao
Millington
Massey

Cook
Clark
Milner
Rankin/Foster

If Clark, Smith, Rankin and Foster are still missing then it will have to be:

Mata’utia, Minikin, McMeeken, Blair, Eden, Trueman, Aston, Watts, McShane, Massey, Sene-Lefao, Millington, Milner

Subs: Cook, Clarkson, Maher, Turner

Personally I think we need more pace on the wings/fullback and power in the centres I go with

Rankin
Carr
Blair
Peanut
Eden

Halves remain and forwards will pick themselves depending on who's fit.

It never ceases to annoy the hell out of me folks lovingly referring to matautia as peanut.
Are they referring to his brain?

This one would be mine probs be abit unpopular moving macca but he's been well off his game last few weeks for me.
1.rankin
2.minkin
3.pete
4.blair
5.eden
6.corey
7.macca
8.watts
9.oneil
10.millo
11.meeks
12.jesse
13.massey
14.milner
15.cook
16.clarkson/clark
17.smith/Turner
If macca is playing off at moment cause he's carrying a knock Turner to full back rankin to 7 Leeds game is do or die for me it's a chance for Powell to show he can get this team to rise when the pressure is on something he hasn't achieved yet. We've been consistently good under his tenure but when the pressure comes we have far too often failed and put in dud performances

My favourite away day is Headingley, but I'm afraid to say I won't be rushing home from work on Thursday for it.
