Even with their current injury list this squad is stronger than ours. We also don't seem to have the mental toughness to scrap and fight.

Would love to be proved wrong......

Fumper27 wrote:Two changes for Saturday. Moors suspended and Shenton injured, replaced by Turner and O’Neill:

24. Cory Aston
2. James Clare
21. Mitch Clark
34. Chris Clarkson
5. Greg Eden
25. Tuoyo Egodo
23. Will Maher
14. Nathan Massey
1. Peter Mata’utia
12. Mike McMeeken
9. Paul McShane
13. Adam Milner
3. Greg Minikin
29. Jacques O’Neill
28. Lewis Peachey
34. Daniel Smith
6. Jake Trueman
29. Calum Turner
8. Liam Watts

Therefore, I’d go with:

Turner
Minikin
Mata’utia
Egodo
Eden
Trueman
Aston
Watts
Mcshane
Smith
Clarkson
Mcmeeken
Massey

Milner
Maher
Clark
O’Neill

Clare and Peachey miss out
This is my team too Fumper. Clark and Milner off of the bench will add some enthusiasm and I honestly thought Maher had a decent enough game last week, attracted 3/4 players into the tackle each time.

Yup- If they can consider leaving out a player like Escare their injury problems are clearly not a patch on ours though I'm sure their fans & Sky commentators will be quick to point them out.

I have said this before, flow must have two people writing on the post, this last one while not altogether articulate, it makes sense.
I am sure though he or them means well , while at same time getting under the skins of most. He or them are true Cas supporters, and although slating the club and forum scribes, are as frustrated as a lot of our fans.

Egodo vs Hankinson may be an interesting battle.

Looks a well balanced side all things considered.

I would have to disagree and think they look considerably stronger than us.

We could be in for a tough couple of hours and I fear the worst. A surprise win today would go down as one of our best ever wins I reckon, unless they’re dire.

I have a feeling this could be a close game. Based on our injury situation, we can't ask anymore than some real effort from the boys. Hopefully we will see a Cas win

Looks like DP tactics are not to take too many risk early on and keep this game tight and, apart from a few pens, seems to be working nicely so far. Very disciplined defence by the tigers.
