My thoughts also, Turner seemed slow returning ball, Mata'uatia is no half back. Can't comment on young Aston, but as Hudds wrote, why bring him in if not to be used. Jesse on bench perhaps as replacement front-row, although prefer him in 2nd row. But we all can play at team selection, hopefully DP has got the players in to do a job. Can't afford to slip up against these, I will never hear the last from relations from over that side.

I'd go with that. time for Aston to be given a chance peanut back to full back.

Knee injury. Powell's comments last week were that he hoped Huddersfield would be the last game he's out. Again, may be another one getting a few more days extra training in ahead of Catalans on Monday.

Hopefully see Rankin, Foster, Cook back in for Monday.
Along with mcshane bud
Be lovely to see these 4 back for Monday, bit of rotation would be a luxury we don’t normally see... worst time to play Catalan away!

Totally agree you’ve got to give Turner a go but with him playing we don’t seem to look an attacking threat at all, with peter at fullback he runs into the line and does try and get the ball outwide which will rub off when we get our injured players back and cheyse Blair out in the centre.

Macca will play 80 at hooker Monday. Maybe bringing Aston in and around the 1st team squad, play Turner at full bsck one game, Peter at full bsck the next with Aston at 6.

Powell said Massey would only miss a couple of weeks at most after Wigan game.

Just heard Fatfita interview regarding his extended contract. Says he wasn’t to be at Wakey when they win a trophy. If that’s correct why has he only signed for 3 more years?

Ashton as been with us for two years, he is an half back if we don't give him a go why is he still on the books ???, in the freindlys we played a depleted Feath side he looked very sharp

It was thought Rankin would be back now but obviously something still not right. Clarkson was hamstring as well. No return been given for him. Matt Cook was a massive shock. No news on reason he is not even in squad. Would assume he has a knock.

I'd go with that. Plenty of impact from the bench.

Because giving young Corey a contract was part of the deal to get Garry Lo to Cas.

Bet you your house that he won't get a renewal.

aston did look sharp against fev mate but in their next outing amateur club hunslet parkside beat that same fev side.
would love to see him come in and prove us all wrong but i just can't see it
. did hear that powell suspects that astons dad interferes to much and overrides young corey's instructions from powell.
