You must be disappointed Hudds that Clare hasn’t been picked after his 30 yard run on Friday night?

Well done to all the boys but no Macca?

Like the above post, chuffed for Wattsy also. Been a long time coming for him, some of his Hull form should of seen him picked at some point, but I feel the lack of an offload game at Hull killed his chances. Since coming to us, he's become an all rounder which has seen him become arguably the best prop in SL.

Be great also for Trueman to spend some time in the camp and get the experience of being in an international set up.

Not sure why they'd name the likes of Gale when he'll practically play no part this season and Milners probably been very lucky to be called up. Actually think LMS has been the best 13 in SL quite easily so far this year!

Pleased for wattsy ...Bennett tends to stay loyal to players he likes so not surprised to see Milner retain his place

Pleased for them all, but really chuffed for Wattsy - his hard work on the discipline side of his game has paid off. Well done to all.

Echo as above. Pleased for all 4 but especially for Watts and Truey. Disappointed McShane overlooked again but he's in such a competitive position.

I have no idea how the selector's minds work but suspect that Macca didn't do enough in the games against both Saints and Wire to warrant selection.

Just think Roby, who is still awesome, and Clark are always first choice. Also have Josh Hodgson so he's 4th choice without accounting for others such as Houghton and McIlorum (Irish come English)

That's partly what's behind my thinking. If Macca is to stand a chance he needs to dominate the games when he plays either Clark or Roby. Sadly, he didn't so his selection is unlikely.

Surprised Milner has got another call up on present form. Maybe being handy with the clippers is good for team bonding :)

Wattsy call up well deserved, harsh for McShane but as others have said hooker is a position of depth for the national side.

Great for them all, however, we have a poor record of their ability to play when they get back.

2 years ago gale and Meeks got injured early. This year adz missed pre season and hasn't regained his form yet. Oggy needed surgery.

Gale shouldn't be considered for the end of season tour in reality but we shouldn't make them miss what might be a once in a lifetime thing.

Mega pleased for Watts in particular. Well done boys.

Finances will have taken a hit with truey’s call up :D

Bet he had a 10-20k clause in his deal If called up to elite squad. All good though!! Future captain.

If he had Danny orr’s Speed off the mark over first 5 metres we’d have lost him by now. Definitely.

With all these players playing for England doesn't that give us even more space on the salary?

on the showing last Friday I am with Hudds Clare did a lot better than Minikin and Eden I thought both had shockers, you would have thought the way Eden got rid of the ball is that it was burning his hands, I have always liked Minikin but he had a awful game lets hope the both show what they can really do starting at Leeds

Maybe Eden was trying make things happen rather then just letting the forwards make less then 30 yards a set everytime.

Given the aforementioned Mr Bennett loyalty (which I have no issue with by the way) I cannot see our guys getting anything but experience in the squad to be honest.
