Deserves to be at a club where the board backs him.

Absolute zero ambition as a club.

Was bloody livid when he walked over the field.
Hope he don’t get in trouble for that.

In terms of what. Not a vast gulf in quality. Basic errors given them the game.

We dont have a money man that throws millions at the club.

We spend to the cap what else do you want?

We want better than Minikin, Clare and Rankin for starters, add quality players to those positions we would compete with Saints and Wire.

The problem facing DP (and the rest of us) is, even before tonight, is if you pooled both squads together and pick the best 17 - how many of our squad would get selected....?

Not many

After tonight - none

Rankin is a stand in for Gale so can't count him. But yeh our right side attack is non existent.

Yes a stand in that Powell and John Wells picked and pays a wage too. That's not an excuse they choose him for God sake.

Powell's took us as far as he can (in the nicest possible way). I wouldn't hold a grudge if he wanted to go to a bigger club and see what he can do there with money or take on the England/GB job.

The reason we didn’t sign anyone is that we don’t have enough room on the cap, this shows that we are over paying players such as Adam Milner who’s been very poor this season.

Its mental.... beat before a ball is kicked against st's

We build it up as a big game and Cas bottle it...I dont know why anyone is surprised .... St's have us beat before we ever get near a pitch.

As said thats 12 from 15 games at home to Sts we have lost and lost heavily.

I dont have an answer but the only team in SL that i know have us are Sts....and its nowt to do with skill its about mentally being weak .... has been like this for as long as I can remember against them.....and will continue simply because its ingrained in the cas mental inability to cope with Sts.

Feel for DP tonight.....he must be seriously questioning this teams mental character as it is so obvious that they are big game bottlers

Didn’t we spend it on Wardle, Watts and Mata’utia?

Cant remember the last time we had a 3 tier attack like we used too. What's happened to our attack we used to be the best at it now we look shocking. Surely it cant be not having Gale in the team.

But you said we should spend some of our profit. I was merely pointing out that we already had done so. If you go a bit further back, we also spent £150,000 on Zak Hardaker. Don’t let facts get in the way of a good rant though

It’s too easy to plough a load of emotion into a situation and blame everyone who probably doesn’t deserve blaming tonight. Have to take a step back a bit and write it off. A bad day at the office where everything went wrong man to a man. Not one individual. The team 1-17. A team that IS good enough to beat Saints.

So the only people who should be blamed tonight are the players. If they want to win things they have to step up and show the right attitude and do the basics.

The forwards didn’t want to do the dirty stuff. We have a team that are in awe of Saints and stand and watch them rather than showing fight. It’s like we see Roby and co and think they are the golden boys.

We tried to play without earning the right to. Our forwards didn’t want to take on Walmsley and Thompson and instead tried to go down the edges. Our right hand side was diabolical. There’s absolutely no way Holmes, Foster and Minikin should play together again. Madness that we persisted with that for 80 mins and that’s the only thing I can lay at Powell’s door.

Our defensive attitude is abysmal. Stand back and let them make 10 metres every time. On your own line, just stand there and watch them run over the top of you. Static. Get into their faces and give them something to think about!

Funnily enough it was the players people bagged on here that did the best job tonight. Shenton played well, Clare came on and made a break, Rankin was a threat in attack. Of our forwards the best was Moors but the rest were poor.
