Im off to this one and whilst I don't read too much into friendly 'results' I am expecting both teams to field a good number of first teamers so should hopefully be an entertaining match

I would think both sides will have the best side they can call on out on Sunday. Looking forward to it. Win or lose we should know where we are...and what improvements we can make before we face Catalans.

I should think DP would put out the side he intends to play against Catalan the players have nearly two weeks to get over any knocks, I would like to see Egodo on the bench I thought he looked good against a weak Feath side he as been with us a couple of seasons if he is not going to break into the first team it is unfair to keep him

Sundays game will be far from a friendly. They've some pretty handy players in their ranks now, makes them dangerous, but then I look at their team as a whole and realise Hurrell and Merrin still have to play with the likes of Goulding, Sutcliffe, Handley etc who are bang average.

I think ash handley has Improved beyond recognition. A few years ago,I felt like sniggering when I knew he was in their line up. Now, I’m certain Daryl could turn him into a top player. Same with Goulding I suppose. Sutcliffe IS bang average.

I think its Leeds aging pack that’ll be there down fall this year. Ablet (33) Cuthbertson (33) ferris (32) JJB (37) with reduced subs I do think their effectiveness will suffer.

Looking forward to the game.
That's it really!
Except to say how noticeable a positive thread about a game of Rugby League is ignored by so many regular posters. Nowt to moan about!

Ditto, will be interesting to see how we line up, especially in the halves, bearing in mind Gale was never in the plans for this game.

I would like to see a strong squad for this one, something like:

Peanut
Clare
Minikin
Shenton
Eden
Truemam
Aston
Watts
McShane
Millo
McMeeken
Foster
Milner

And then a bench of everyone who's left really.

Would like to think Aston gets first shot at 7 and then during the match Rankin to come on to show us what he can do, although I imagine he'll be a bit rusty on the plays.

Anyone carrying a niggle should be rested.

Can't argue with that to be fair.

Also, Headingley pitch looks to be in pretty poor condition, so could well be a forward battle. We definitely beat them in the forwards.

In our friendly Egodo looked like he could push for a centre spot , we are all aware that we need cover in the centers wouldn't this be a game to try him to see if he could do it ??

Suppose it depends if DP is willing to have some players running out for the first time against Catalan.
