Re: No luke Gale then
Would prefer to see T. Holmes & McShane in the halves, put Millo back in the pack
Re: No luke Gale then
Would it surprise anyone if he still actually played on Saturday?
Squads change as cas have proved many times this year with people dropping out at last minute

Re: No luke Gale then
I really hope Cas are just playing mind games here. I cant see Oliver Holmes being ready enough for this game. Maybe a late change with Gale coming in at last minute? Just keep Wigan guessing etc....
Re: No luke Gale then
How strange, Luke was on the radio last night saying he was confident of playing, as he had trained earlier in the day with no ill effects.

Re: No luke Gale then
If this is tosh and gale comes in at last minute cas maybe taking the view that as the wigan coach can barely string two coherent sentences together he may be fooled by it cant see it myself like

Re: No luke Gale then
The rules on naming the squad are not as easy as they might seem.
I think only players who have played under a certain amount of games or are under a certain age can be added to the 19 man squad after it has been announced.

Re: No luke Gale then
Not if someone suffers an "injury" between now and game day
Re: No luke Gale then
Correct if someone drops from the 19 due to injury we can replace him. we did it earlier in the season I believe but just can't remember who it was but I am sure it was one of the more experienced players who came into the team

Re: No luke Gale then
I didn't think the rules of SL were the same as the cup as far as naming the squad were concerned.

Re: No luke Gale then
the rules are set by the RFL not SL - in the rules section of the RFL website it says the same rules apply to a challenge cup game as to a league game with regards to the declaration of the 19 man squadSharlotiger wrote:I didn't think the rules of SL were the same as the cup as far as naming the squad were concerned.

mind games that all, disrupt Wanes plans. He always does it so maybe we are just playing him at his own game.

But it's not mind games when Luke himself has said on radio that he is fit to play!?!?viva brad wrote:mind games that all, disrupt Wanes plans. He always does it so maybe we are just playing him at his own game.
