i thought ellis had a good game and took some pressure off rangi. what i couldn't understand was an idiot behind me shouting abuse at him as he was preparing to convert carney's first try.

I was annoyed at Carney for plonking the ball down 20 yards out wide when he had a free run under the sticks

To be fair although we could see he'd brushed the last defender off from the stands hes not forced to have known and maybe thought the last defender was still on his tail!

taking all the pluses I was pleased with the way we stuck at it, but I cant believe kr snatched defeat from the jaws of victory & if I was a kr fan I would be pretty annoyed, great to see the players celebrating the try's etc

also pleased we didn't take Luke George on loan as up to Sunday I thought he was ok, but not after that display.

I'm with you KB80, as professionals they should always seek the maximum but I wouldn't fancy telling Carney - he might react adversely (job for Mr Powell I think).

Given our recent form, I think Carney was just content to get the four pointer.

With our luck, he'd have probably just ended up dropping the ball under the sticks.

Having reviewed the clip Mr C didn't exactly welcome Ellis' comments with open arms...

No action taken by the RFL Tribunal on Micky Paea's tackle on Hauraki

No action taken by the RFL Tribunal on Josh Hodgson's tackle on Jordan Tansey

All other head high tackles were OK and legal it seems.
