Possibly, 16-1 NRNB maybe a better option of punting him for the Gold Cup .WF10 wrote:I don't think Cheltenham is the be all and end all for connections of WP.KB80 wrote:25-1 seems to offer a bit of value for WP.WF10 wrote:Altior is a monster.
I'm a massive Waiting Patiently fan, but don't think they'll head for the Gold Cup with him, especially after yesterday.
Although it is shaping up like a very winnable Gold Cup this year, so who knows...
That said it seems to be setting up nicely for Presenting Percy. Although short enough and would want to see him out soon.
I suspect Road to Respect may be a little shorter than the 12-1 currently available after tommorow, think he will run a big race.
If I were them I'd maybe prioritise the Bowl at Aintree as a Spring target.
And go chasing the £1m bonus next season.
Was hoping Presenting Percy would come out over Christmas and run slightly below par to add a bit of juice to his price. Fancy him but can't be having him at antipost 9-2 without seeing a run this year.
Re: New tipping competion
Pleasant Company clearly been lined up for the National again. 25-1 but only 4 places on offer (let's any antipost national betting this early down a bit).

Re: New tipping competion
Had a cracking day today, started with 50 quid in Betfair, first race 20 each way Cuneo, won at 12/1, 200 on Let Rip 5/4, and 600 on Apples Jade 4/6, that's me done for the day, don't want to push my luck.

One that jumped out to me last night is Wenyerreadyfreddie in the last at Newbury. I backed it at 9/4 last night and think 7/4 would be generous.
2/1 is still available & I'm tempted to go back in.

Backed it last night too. Was on it last run at Ascot and don't see any reason to desert it today (Polydora the only obvious threat).WF10 wrote:Well in mate.takethetwo wrote:Had a cracking day today, started with 50 quid in Betfair, first race 20 each way Cuneo, won at 12/1, 200 on Let Rip 5/4, and 600 on Apples Jade 4/6, that's me done for the day, don't want to push my luck.

Hoping for a convincing run from Mt Leinster in the last at Leapordstown, backed him Anti post for the Champion Bumper.

Decent Saturday.
Although I had Ballydine too, would have been nice.

Mt Leinster ruined mine - would have finished s few multiples for nice profit.WF10 wrote:I had Lady Buttons in a double with Champ.KB80 wrote:Can't beleive I got Lady Buttons at 15/8 yesterday, absoulte steal. Single and double with Mr Leinster.

Fortunately, I put At The Races on and sat down to watch the last few races (involving Anna Jemeuila and Mt Leinster who i needed to finish a few doubles/acca). Happened to notice a horse called How's Patsy about to run (extended families dogs name whose been diagnosed with illnes) so punted a fairly small amount solely on name- it absolutely bolted up at 12-1!
Ultimately ended up in profit by sheer luck, but I'll take it

A wolves, Cardiff, Hull and grimsby four fold would have returned 2000/1 today

Yeah Hull ruined my bet . Had a 6 fold and only Leeds let me down , had Liverpool to win , over 3.5 Goals and Salah score anytime though which was nice . 8/1 I think it was .the machine wrote:A wolves, Cardiff, Hull and grimsby four fold would have returned 2000/1 today

Aye.
Been dead busy with work this month but I'll try and get on more in February and also put my selections up a bit more often.
