terrible events in London yesterday, I would suggest CasRus' solution would have meant that two members of the public would have been waking up this morning. See above Cappers soft Liberal approach of 'I will of course try to support them' and 'I do not need to do anything' well how did that work out yesterday?Flat Capper wrote: ↑21 Feb 2019, 14:42What I have said is that I do not believe rounding the Jihadists up in a field and, to quote the Kenny Everett character, bombing the ba..... achieves anything.CasRus wrote:78% of the British People polled today want action to keep this\Jihadist out
15% agree with you !
Enough Said !
Worst of all was the cancer analogy. If my neighbour has cancer, it won't kill me will it? However, I will of course try to support them in any way I can but as things stand, I don't have cancer and Isis do not hold a military base in the UK just in the same way the basis for cancer does already exist within my body. Whilst it's under control I do not need to do anything.

Convicted for planning to bomb the LSE and out on a tag after 8 years!!! that should sort it. He should have been hung for treason.
trying to counter extremist groups who hate us and pandering to their every need is the reason that our Western civilisation will eventually fall.
Now then Capper, what have you got to say for yourself on your soft approach and two families who were looking forward to Christmas with their totally innocent loved ones now lying in a morgue ????alftupper wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 08:54terrible events in London yesterday, I would suggest CasRus' solution would have meant that two members of the public would have been waking up this morning. WF10, you total knobhead , I am posting in the context of how terrorism should be dealt with as to what Alf has just brought up from my post before and whereas you lot are of the soft Jezza ("ooh it can't be Putin killing the Scrutins" logic with his head buried in the sand and lets bring the Isis bride back to run the risk of bombing us all again camp).WF10 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 12:20 You have lost the plot here Adolf.
This bloke was arrested in 2010 for terrorism offences.
Sentenced in 2012 to an indeterminate length, recommended a minimum of 8 years.
In 2013 this was replaced by a '16 year fixed term'.
Seems yesterday he was out on day release for some rehabilitation program.
Tell me how the [REMOVED] your logic can twist this to be 'Corbyn's fault' given Corbyn has only been the Labour Party leader since September 2015?
When the Tories have been in Government since 2010?
You absolute helmet.

Not at all, the police were on the scene in 2 minutes how could more police have helped unless you are suggesting 24/7 surveillance which tagging certainly is not but considering there are over 3,000 known jihadis walking our streets just how many police would this require? Clearly the thing that is at fault is a criminal justice system that sees fit to release a terrorist 8 years after planning mass murder. Absolutely disgustingWF10 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 09:50alftupper wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 08:54terrible events in London yesterday, I would suggest CasRus' solution would have meant that two members of the public would have been waking up this morning. Doesn’t the fact that a convicted terrorist, under surveillance, has a weapon raise questions about police resources?

Boris Johnson launched a ‘foul-mouthed tirade’ towards the families of the victims of the 7/7 terror attacks after being told about the cost of inquests, it has been alleged.
The claims were made last night by Brian Coleman, who was chair of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority.
He said: ‘I was telling Boris how the Fire Authority was having to spend a sizeable sum on lawyers, as were the Metropolitan Police, Transport for London and everybody else involved.
Following the briefing, Mr Coleman said Guto Harri, the Mayor’s communications chief at the time, explained the 7/7 inquests were for the benefit of the families.
Mr Coleman added: ‘To which Boris replied, “F*** the families! F*** the families!"
