Alf, I would need to fill a full 2 pager to explain all about what is apparently really going on these past 2 to 3 hundred years which harps right the way back when King William in 1694 was broke and borrowed off rich families to fund his war and where they have now become very powerful behind the façade or front that the common people now only see - stock markets are influenced and controlled by shady goings on where stocks are dumped by powerful people when high and then bought back low when prices have collapsed and then make millions !! All Banks are privately owned didn't you know and there are about 13 families like Rockefeller/Rothschilds who have accrued Trillions controlling practically everything in the world today !

Apparently, There has been attempts to try to wrestle control and have failed - Kennedy was apparently one and Reagan was the other who tried, one dead and one survived attempted murder. It's all conjecture without proof !

Apparently, in a nutshell, there is now a chance to do this as Trump has just signed off 2 Trillion Dollars and put enormous pressure on the Federal Reserve which in turn might bring the Rich Families down finally when the people and governments haven't got a dime to pay all these type of loans back and the Fed cannot satisfy the rich loaners anymore.

If all this is indeed true, and I'm not saying that it is, it bodes well for the common man where the wealth will finally be distributed in a much fairer manner than having a few rich families sat on Trillions and enrich all our lives !!

Looks like Corbyn’s leadership is sputtering out almost unnoticed. I was expecting at least a brief tribute by the forum Corbynistas and some recognition as to where their political hero has lead the Party in his 4 and a half years at the helm!

Looking likely Sir Keir Starmer will be new leader tomorrow. Probably the best of a bad bunch to make Labour electable again.

Probably so at least he’s a serious politician however the next Labour PM may not have even been born yet.

Starmer it is then, a man with the charisma of a piece of 4’’x2’’ a steady hand but it’s a very long haul back and little prospect of him becoming PM

The chav from Manchester will however provide us with continued comedy value I feel as she takes up the Deputy Leader role

Anything can happen between now and the next election though. Who would have predicted since the start of this thread we would have seen Cameron go, May in and then out, 2 elections and Boris as PM.

Idiots, dangerous morons, fantasists, I could go on.

the sheep that feed on the rubbish that goes around social media could be more dangerous than the global pandemic.

Apparently the latest tosh is that 5G comms masts are responsible for spreading covid-19 and there have been reports of masts being damaged and destroyed in the UK as a result. Just idiots, it is frightening the nonsense peddled on social media taken as fact by a significant number of our population.

its not 5G phone masts, the CIA, the bilderberb group the illuminati or Santa Claus.

Labour / Momentum churned out their fair share of propaganda, so why did people turn away from Labour? Nothing to do with their policies or leader?

Anyway Capper now we have a left of centre Labour leader where does this leave you with your hard left persuasion? Back to Arthur’s Socialist Labour Party possibly?

Not like you to either miss hte point or try diversionary tactics but to help you understnd my point. The people on social media that you refer to as "idoits, dangerous morans and fantasists" appear to be the same folk that walked away from Labour and the EU. If the cap fits and all that.

As for the new Labour leader, just like the last one I'll await his policies to see if they align closer to my own thoughts and give me the best option at an election. I certainly can't see him becoming a selfish, money grabbing, poverty driving Tory, so there's every possiblity he'll get my support.

??? What evidence do you have of this.

a group of people on social media choose to believe anything they read on it and a group of people desert Labour at the last election and scatterbrain here decided there’s an obvious connection. I think it’s just you Crapper old lad.

It's all anecdotal but as this isn't a court of law I don't need any more evidence to convince myself. My eyes tell me all I need to know.

I'm with you on this one Alf.

You just can't say a lot of loony lemmings following what Social Media put out are all the ones that defected from Labour to the Tories .....that's total boll.cks !

It's as bad as putting the blame on 5G causing the Covid virus !!!!

On this 5G thing, I have seen people earlier discussing on the strength and effect of 5G that may have an impact on human health in respect of disorientating frequency power levels on body cells which each cell has to perform it's function within the human body which might be more believable - similar to when mobile phones were questioned about having an effect and we were all human guinea pigs on using ! I hope that the science has been thoroughly looked into on 5G so as not to be concerning to human health !

Who started this 5g stuff ,I saw Amir Khan saying yesterday the virus was a cover up while the government installed 5g I thought it was a wind up of some sort
Most of the masts there destroying don't have 5g yet so there just burning 3g and 4g masts

Thankfully, most folk aren't believing the codswallop, including the 5G theory, but again, you miss the point. Many of those I see spreading these ridiculous notions were the same people who constantly posted messages about Brexit and, more specifically during the election, Jeremy Corbyn.

This doesn't mean the majority of those that voted Tory (many of which will have been the good old floating voter) and indeed, voted for Brexit did so because they supported the reasons put forward.

The group I'm referring to, which may have been enough to sway the Brexit vote in particular, couldn't disseminate fact from fiction at the best of times and were happy to believe the misinformation put about by the Tory press, like they are doing with the conspiracy theories.
