Re: Salford on Saturday
If O'Neill is fit I can see him being on the bench if McShane doesn't make it. Macca will be given every chance to make it for Saturday but may come around too soon. Evalds, Olpherts, Matautia, Shenton, Clare, Turner, O'Brien, Millo, McShane, Smith, Jesse, Holmes, Massey Matagi, Griffin, O'Neill, Mi...

Re: POWELL…….coach of the month.
It never existed before this season.
It's a new award along with 3 others, Player of the Month I think is one for example.

Re: Wigan next.
I see we have attributed the loss to Shenton playing. Let's address this from the outset. You could have put literally anyone in the three quarters tonight and it wouldn't have made the blindest bit of difference. It wasn't the team selection that let us down it was the team themselves. The entire b...

Re: Wigan next.
If we lose now, then this is all on Powell for disrupting a winning team. If this result costs us a play off spot then heads will roll. It really isn't. The team is strong and strong enough to do a job. It is down to the players. Eden playing or not starting isn't going to change the outcome when t...

Re: Wigan next.
Just can't see Milner doing 80 mins so someone is going to have to fill in at 9. For me, that will be O'Brien with Turner moving to 6. It makes sense for Shenton to fill in at centre at that point then off the bench. Think it is difficult to change a winning backline but we also need fresh legs too ...

Put Sneyd under pressure for kicks we shut them up. The only tactics they have are give it to the big guy or kick it out wide.

Re: Squad for Thursday.
Milner and Smith are already confirmed as playing DP, as he is rotating the forwards.
Same team as Wakey with those two in for Hepi and Griffin or Jesse is my bet.

Re: It’s now the fans turn
Especially when you factor in the Royal pig's ear the club made of buying and picking up tickets on the day. Two staff members and two card machines is woeful, particularly when it is a local derby and add to that peeing it down. To not even do something about it either, leaving people queuing down ...

The only team we fail to beat in a season normally is usually Saints and we have got over that hurdle.

Re: Top 6: 5 into 3 won't go
Just win our games and what will be will be. It is in our own hands. Two significant games coming up and going to be interesting to see how DP manages both with a short turnaround

Be surprised if it was over 7.5k tbh. Railway End was unsurprisingly dead and Princess St looked empty in places too.

Just looked at the notes I was sent from MtD. IF said that although the accounts show interest increasing, he isn't taking a penny.

Re: New Ground for Cas or NOT !
Didn't IF refute the interest stuff at the Meet the Directors meeting and say it wasn't true about that? There is a charge on the ground. That means that in the event the club goes bust the ground is used to satisfy the debts. If the club is owned essentially by IF, and it doesn't affect the materia...

Re: New Ground for Cas or NOT !
The land value is worth more than our debts to the Fulton's, though.
So theoretically the club could sell off what they need while increasing the value of WR from a stadium point of view and retaining enough land to satisfy the debt if it ever got called in.

Re: New Ground for Cas or NOT !
Theoretically, would it be financially possible for Axiom to make money by Cas selling them land at Wheldon Road in lieu of funding stadium redevelopment (e.g. the training pitch and car parking) in lieu of funding redevelopment with a piece meal rent to Cas (or no rent) until the new stadium is bui...

Re: It’s now the fans turn
I'm just disappointed a good thread about giving the boys the support they need and getting down to support our club after the last 18 months has been taken down a negative route. I'd much rather focus on that than dwell on the previous conversation. Really important to keep the momentum going and I...

Re: Hepi next.
Not sure about this. Heart and aggression is there, the size is not. Unless Radford sees him in a totally different position, I'm not sure it is a good use of cap space.
Would rather promote one of the young kids and give them a shot and move that money into getting a new main front rower.

Re: It’s now the fans turn
Snip You were wrong. End of. I know what I said and I know what I meant. It isn't my problem you misinterpreted it that way. If I'm meeting in the middle in some semblance of compromise, I can see how you think that but it still doesn't make you any less wrong. It was generally speaking about any i...
