Re: Huddersfield game cancelled
Could go a long way as to why Wattsy was blowing tugs when the full 80 is normally no problem.

Re: Leeds up next
If the boot was on the other foot and the decisions had gone against Leeds can you imagine the outcry. Proud of the boys and Mr Powells diplomacy RFL would never let a Cas fan ref a Cas game! That's the big difference. Impartial refs got stopped the second Smith & Pressley left, coincidentally ...

Re: Leeds up next
That all anybody can ask from a side up against it. The standard of refereeing in SL is utterly appalling. All Joe publics asks the the correct interpretation of the rules which is NOT happening why??? Hurrell takes Truey out play on ..we follow thru on Gale penalty...ball strips ... The people in ...

Well he's literally a Leeds Rhinos fan so probably "great game, best performance yet"SuffolkTiger wrote: ↑26 Oct 2020, 23:00 I'd love to know what the genuine thoughts of that referee are once he's sat down and watched the recording of that game with his mum.
I would be devastated at such a personal horror show.

Re: Leeds up next
Cas need to seriously question why a referee from Leeds, who lives in Leeds and is a Leeds fan and was a ST holder can referee....a Leeds game?

Re: Leeds up next
Another Tom Grant special: gave Leeds a penalty for a BALL STEAL when the Leeds player went in touch.
Because that's exactly the time you'd steal the ball.

Re: Leeds up next
Spear tackle decision - a disgrace. That's the problem when weak officials lose control of a game (which was just before kick off) - players can get seriously hurt. He hasn't lost control, he's refereeing to how Ganson has told him. The sheer look of dejection when Eden scored shows he's here for a...

If Tom Grant hasn't been paid to ref like this then he should be flat out fired.
Incompetence on a whole new level tonight.

Re: Leeds up next
How's the refs don't have an agenda crowd doing tonight? Bent as they come, 34 incorrect decisions to the benefit of Leeds in the first half (set restarts, knock one, ball steals, elbows etc) Can you list the 34 for the purposes of debate? Multiple clear set restarts makes the bulk of it 3 Lui flop...

Re: Jon Wells
He only signs players Powell signs off on. I’m not convinced about that one. Powell might agree a signing, but it doesn’t mean he didn’t prefer another player. More to the point, Powell signed players before Jon Wells joined. So what exactly does Wells do? He identifies targets in positions Powell ...

Re: Jon Wells
He only signs players Powell signs off on. Powell is also the player who for the most part who has refused to play any u19s players until it's the only possible problem solver. He would rather play 4 players out of position than play a young player in the correct position. For all the good Powell ha...

Re: Squad for Thursday
We've played saints and Wigan in close games. They've subsequently had a player banned for 6+ matches because they should have been sent off. We have 2 video ref decisions overturning the ref today. Makes you wonder who they want in top 4. 6 points lost As much as they should have been red cards in...

Re: Peanut at 6?
Move O’Brien there and people moan that we have no other full-back. What's the point of Hodgson & Turner in the squad if Powell flat out refuses to use them? That's the biggest knock on Powell for me, he does not trust the kids and will jig the team around in often times nonsensical ways just t...

Re: Peanut at 6?
O'Brien was a halfback before (and for longer) than he's been a FB Foster is a second rower, he doesn't pass the ball at all as a centre Turner & Hodgson are both available So why not have GOB in the halves, Peanut at centre, one of Turner/Hodgson at FB and Foster in for McMeeken who can hop on ...
