Commentary only though will probably be on Radio Leeds or Radio Humberside.

Re: Gregory: Pecking order of Cas wingers
I think Kirk Dixon was the first winger to score from a mid-air position after hitting the corner flag was deemed irrelevant. I think it occurred at Magic Weekend but can’t remember the opponents though possibly Wakefield.

The 8,100 gate at Warrington was for the Super League fixture on the previous week.

Re: [Match Discussion] Leeds (A) cup
That wasn’t just a win, it was an annihilation. Agreed that the Rhinos were poor, but surely this is the Cas we were promised pre-season. Keep up the improved discipline and I can see Cas handing out a few more thrashings this year. At last we have pace throughout the team and the only reason that w...

Re: Challenge Cup Should we bother really ?
Stokie, there’s nothing better than winning the FA Cup or Rugby League Challenge Cup. For me it’s the pinnacle of the sport. I’ve been there when Cas have won the trophy 3 times, had my photo taken holding the Cup high in the boardroom, and only seen them lose once at Wembley against Wigan ironicall...

Re: Sky coverage
I used to watch every Super League match on Sky. I’ve completely lost interest in the sport now including Cas. Can’t wait for the Speedway Grand Prix to start now.

Truman not fit enough for me. Bring in O’Brien and keep Richardson for his goal kicking. Agree that Massey and Milner are needed also Turner and Eden if fit.

Re: New Covid rules.
It may sound draconian but nevertheless sensible. However will there be a time limit to rearrange postponed matches at a later date before incurring such penalties?

Re: Kevin Sinfield
I must agree with all the sentiments from Cas supporters about Kevin Sinfield. Rugby League can be a brutal sport on the field, but arguably the friendliest off the field. What Kevin has done for his friend Rob Burrows and MND transcends anything he achieved on the rugby field and almost beyond huma...

I did log in as instructed but my previous blog has not been published. Is there anyway of retrieving it especially as it contains excellent figures of Castleford’s Magic Weekend statistics?

Agreed, but should be the home shirt. The current orange one in my opinion is the worst ever. Reminds me of a Belisha Beacon, too garish by half!

The alternative is to include them in the draw as an away side and if they refuse to play give their opponents a walkover.

Maybe if the brightness had been toned down a little it might’ve been more acceptable, like tangerine as worn by Blackpool FC.

Re: Legal Proceedings against RFL
American footballers and cricketers batting or fielding close to the wicket have worn helmets for several years now, as have cyclists, speedway riders, jockeys, etc. How would that work in rugby or soccer? Just asking like!
