Re: Watkins
I think it's s perfect time to take Watkins (if true). Play for a contract for next season when Shenton is 'probably' done. Win win.

Re: Luke Gale
Didn’t see the game. was he that bad? Saints gaVe him no space at all. Everything he did was rushed. He took a big hit early on and he went into his shell after that. His distribution was poor, kicking poor. A poor all round gave tbh. Saying that saints were on fire. No change from when he was targ...

Re: Gareth O'Brien signing
I really don't get this forum anymore: People on here want to know what's happening at the club, so post what they've been told - then they get slated for posting what they've been told - it's madness. If this has the knock on effect of people keeping their mouths shut and not posting then why have ...

New starting full back, the Hardaker ship sailed a long time ago. Move on now with Evalds.

Re: McMeekan
South of France and more money - I'd be gone in a flash. Fair play to him if he's gone, can't really argue with that.
Can't see him developing anymore under McNamara.
Maybe MM has been told he's not guaranteed a starting shirt for us, we do have a wealth of very good second rowers.

Re: Loose Forward
DP seems to change the LF role dependent on opposition, extra big man (Massey) or ball player (Milner) dependent on what we need. I don't see it as a specialist position anymore.

Re: McMeekan
Isn't his brother employed by NZ Warriors, wasn't it always the long term plan that he went there - sure I read this on a thread on here at some point. We have many good second rowers, not a position I worry about losing anyone from. He’s involved in developing the youth progression routes for NZ p...

Re: Rankin
Pete needs to be left at centre, where he is the better player. I would go with Hodgson at fullback with Turner as back up. We have got to stop playing people out of position just for the sake of it.
Hopefully Evalds comes in early.

Yes - true professional that has never let the club down. Hopefully he will stay on in a coaching capacity when his contract is up.

Re: LMS
One of those players you would have in your squad, but hate him in anyone else's squad. You’d have LMS in our squad??? Not for me pal but respect your opinion. Not in terms of skill or quality, but he has a knack of getting under players skin and drawing fouls and penalties. Not the type of player ...

Richardson is the better player, now, and in 5 years. Good business by Cas. Leeds are just getting publicity because the media think they are back. Nobody saying Richardson poor love to see him with Gale instead off Trueman we would have def won tonight easy if being Richardson and Gale at halfs no...

Re: Predictable and average...
I hope no-one is going to get out the "Unlucky" card out after that... We will never win anything while we: - Have a full back who is good but isn't good enough - Refuse to build pressure and take the worldy pass option when it's not on - Tolerate poor kicking close to the line (again) - ...

Re: Most overrated all time Super League XIII
Sinfield - watching Leeds shoe horn him into any role free was obvious. Never commanded a position of his own, but was a good leader and could kick the ball dead - that was it.
Also Stevie Ward, just never seen what the hype was about. Bateman makes Ward look like a school boy player.

Re: McMeekan
Andrew 6666 Who replaces McMeeken? == Chayse Blair looks like a good fit to me. Not going badly is he, but is he the long term solution. We have stability at the club now (last few years, bar the odd clown doing something stupid), and we haven't looked better. Mind you, nobody is bigger than the cl...
