Re: New Ground for Cas or NOT !

Theoretically, would it be financially possible for Axiom to make money by Cas selling them land at Wheldon Road in lieu of funding stadium redevelopment (e.g. the training pitch and car parking) in lieu of funding redevelopment with a piece meal rent to Cas (or no rent) until the new stadium is bui...

Re: It’s now the fans turn

I'm just disappointed a good thread about giving the boys the support they need and getting down to support our club after the last 18 months has been taken down a negative route. I'd much rather focus on that than dwell on the previous conversation. Really important to keep the momentum going and I...

Re: Hepi next.

Not sure about this. Heart and aggression is there, the size is not. Unless Radford sees him in a totally different position, I'm not sure it is a good use of cap space.

Would rather promote one of the young kids and give them a shot and move that money into getting a new main front rower.

Re: It’s now the fans turn

Snip You were wrong. End of. I know what I said and I know what I meant. It isn't my problem you misinterpreted it that way. If I'm meeting in the middle in some semblance of compromise, I can see how you think that but it still doesn't make you any less wrong. It was generally speaking about any i...

Re: INS AND OUTS

As it stands, we only have Feki, Blair, Mamo and Faraimo on the quota don't we?

3 spots spare to play around with. Matagi is worth one, possibly to replace Millo. I'd be using the other two to bolster the props ideally. Maybe one for the backs.

Re: 2 more years for Milner

The forward market is a struggle at the moment. Many sides trying to recruit props and not getting anywhere. Think I read that a few sides are after middles. Think this suggests someone like Massey will play at prop next year or even Westerman doing so. I'm sure Radford has played him there before.

Re: It’s now the fans turn

No, I don't. I think you need to re-read it. My post says I wonder if Leeds fans will attend, as it will be a tight dash back from Leeds to Cas in time. I never mentioned anything about drinking in that paragraph. My next paragraph then states I just hope those idiots drinking all day stay away. I n...

I didn't specifically say the Leeds football game. I was talking generally.

Re: It’s now the fans turn

Do we reckon many Leeds supporting Cas and Wakey fans will bother? Leeds at home Sat aft. Going to be a tight dash to get out and back to Cas in time.

Just hope idiots that have been boozing all day stay away.

Re: Top 6: 5 into 3 won't go

Based on current form, I can't see Leeds winning more than 2 of their last 6 games. Hull have a more favourable run in and I think they could easily get 4/6, including us if we don't beat them. That would put us in need of winning every other game to keep up. I just can't see it without other sides ...

Re: WIGAN

From what I read on social media some Wigan fans were accusing Leigh fans of racism. Not sure how true it was. Leigh fans were stating that it had been a chant in support of the team and had been misrepresented.

Given the typos I suspect it was written up by Covid Tiger in a style of an article to make it seem more credible.

Re: Squad v Leeds.

It was superb defensive performance despite conceding some soft tries. However, the defensive element was mostly of our own doing with some stupid penalties given away and poor discipline, justified or not. Leeds got given pretty much everything and struggled to break us down. Their first try only c...

Interview I've just watched he said credit to Castleford, I thought they scrambled well, particularly in first 15 and also in 2nd half.

Re: So, on to Huddersfield Monday.

Players with Covid have to isolate for 10 days but then also have to complete 7 days of return to play days.

So while they aren't in isolation, they can only train and be out and about.

Those who are close contacts/pinged only have ti complete the 10 days.

Re: Evalds

Superb game and he's solid as a rock. My only criticism of him is that I'd like to see him run the ball back sometimes and take the first tackle. Don't know if it is a tactical ploy but he almost seems scared to, instead handing it on to the winger.

Re: [Match Discussion] Cheated

Haven't seen it back so can't comment on the try other than what I saw at the ground. Don't think it was a knock as he was facing his own line. Looked like the ball did hit the line though. Then it seems the rules are a grey area and open to interpretation with him jumping. Though I didn't see much ...
