I'm a fan of Powell, I didn't see the match but felt we weren't going to get any 50/50 calls after his comments before the match.
Maybe one way of taking the heat out of this issue with the officials is if Sheridan or Orr took the post match interviews on Sky?

Re: Support from Above
I remember Arsenal fans complained about the lack of statements from their owner that they labelled him "Silent Stan".
We have "Invisible Ian" . I will add we hear nothing from Grattan either unless it's something to boast about.

Well if we are cashing in on Trueman (allegedly)season's end we could be protecting a sellable asset!

If our squad were horses half of them would have been sent to the glue factory months ago.
I also can't imagine what the poor treatment table looks like,...shall we have a whip round to get it refurbished?

Re: Injuries.... is this a club problem
Boringly I have done a lot of work in this area and reading. I exercise a lot in many formats, playing around with 10 sessions a week split and just 4/5 but combination - granted I am not an elite athlete. Bielsa is an interesting one if you read about his methods, he is a brutal trainer and condit...

Re: Ian Fulton
There needs to be some pathway to voice concerns if people feel like it. I understand some posts are over the top (perhaps I'm guilty on that as well). I doubt there won't be any more shareholders meetings as it currently stands , so how can you put points across where the club hears them?

I think you could follow a time line back to when Ben Cooper left as strength & conditioner to when the injuries started to pile up.
Though understand he had to leave.

Re: Toronto
Did I read their new application right ?...that the potential new owner has a large grooming products company in Canada and see's Toronto as a vehicle to expand into the UK? The running and the funding of the club sounded very vague which angered Elstone. They also want to be exempt from relegation ...

Re: Ian Fulton
I think he will devide opinion over the next couple of years. As Lofthouse Tiger highlighted on another thread regarding the share issue he's certainly an opportunist. Does he love the club?. Maybe in a way to make money, but as a fan no I don't. Will he be committed with the new ground further away...

Re: Worried
We are a boom or bust club, there are many posters on this forum that have seen it before...and many voiced their concerns of a fall back to the bust situation since 2017. Player recruitment and boardroom decisions have been poor, and the club appears to be currently full of people who aren't good at...

Bemoaning the lack of transfer activity and money who the hell does he think he his? Has he not heard of Covid-19... It was in the League Express month's ago. I thought to myself when I read it he will want his 15-20% of a transfer fee somewhere. Trueman & McShane are two of his clients I was t...

Re: Giants on Thursday
Given who Trueman's agent is I think the rumour could have legs. He was bemoaning the lack of transfer activity (and money) this season. Who's to say he isnt asking some of his high end clients to put in transfer requests.

Re: Happy days....
Was a fantastic team built around 3/4 class players and hard grafters. Crooks was best prop in the league as was Steadman being the best fullback. We had Blackmore arguably the best centre in the league on his day and of course big T who was world class. How much would those players be worth in tod...

Yeah Morrison was a second rower if my memory serves me well, and use to wear a scrum cap.. Very good second rower, tackled like a demon and was nick named fearless. A bargain signing from Swinton I think?. He was lucky enough to get a trial under Darryl van de velde and because of a shortage of wi...
