According to Flash Scores Cas are second at his moment to St Helens.

Re: Challenge cup
If Saints and Leeds are the venues for the quarter finals and as Saints were drawn 7th out of the bag and Cas were drawn 3rd the odd numbers should be classed as the home team. Therefore it would be grossly unfair for Saints v Giants to be played at Saints so it should be played at Warrington. Likew...

Re: HKR next up
Just to be pedantic it’s impossible to have 3 halves. Equally one can’t give more than 100% and in soccer there aren’t matches of 6 pointers, neither can it be said that teams dropped points as they had zero points to start with. I’m not criticising anyone for using these expressions as everyone kno...

How can you make that assumption when only a handful of season ticket holders have responded to the question?

Re: The Grateful Thread
Good health transcends all sport. Nevertheless when your team puts on such a good performance as Cas did yesterday it’s a great panacea. Good luck to your father and a speedy recovery.

Re: 2021 League Table
We won’t have clubs filling in this season at short notice like we did last season because we now have an even number of clubs, unless of course two or more matches are affected.

Re: The old girl....
The world has changed in the past few years. It makes economic sense that clubs within the same borough should share a stadium. The ratepayers of Wakefield cannot be expected to subsidise two stadia in the present economic situation.

Re: Happy birthday Neil Diamond
I’ve always liked Neil Diamond and especially Sweet Caroline. The first lines ‘where it began’ are so appropriate fitting into the rebirth of Cas Tigers under Darryl Powell. When my wife died 11 years ago, at her funeral I had the opening words of the late Dave Whitfield played “When you lose the on...

A rare statement of positivity from Ian Fulton in today’s Yorkshire Post in which he confirms he’s proud to be Castleford’s chairman and committed to the future of the club.

I’m 83 and having my first covid jab tomorrow and the letter states that my second jab will be three weeks later, but stresses that these inoculations do not guarantee that I will NOT be immune to catching covid 19 in the future. As I’ve never had flu in my life but decided to have the flu jab for t...

Scrums and tackling
With the Government directive that footballers shouldn’t over celebrate goals, how on earth is rugby league to survive without tackles never mind scrums? Maybe all players wearing gloves will be the next directive.

Strange choice of sportsmen by Shaun Wane to give motivational speeches to our World Cup group, Mr Nice and Mr Nasty. Whilst I’ve always been an admirer of Lee Westwood I can’t see how a golfer can motivate a group of rugby league players to perform better, and as for John Terry, a most despicable f...

Strange choice of motivational sportsmen by Shaun Wane for World Cup preparations, Mr Nice and Mr Nasty. Although I’ve always been a fan of Lee Westwood I don’t see how a golfer can add anything to a team sport, and as for John Terry not a pleasant character at all, maybe that’s what Wane is after, ...

Re: Oliver Holmes.
Amazing effort from Kevin Sinfield and to see him embracing Rob Burrow and the joy on Rob’s face was such an emotional moment. Also the effort of Ollie Holmes should be applauded. What is it about Rugby League players (and fans) that differences can be put aside when tragedies occur? Rugby League ca...

Re: PAUL MCSHANE MAN OF STEEL 2020
Glad for Macca, and so happy that Pies, Saints and Wire fans are so upset. Maybe those three clubs should play in a league of their own. I reckon Ellery Hanley knows more about Super League players than any of their fans. Now wouldn’t it be nice if the so called top 6 clubs in football formed a leag...

Although this has been a disappointing season all round I think it’s safe to say that St Helens and Wigan have been the two best teams this season and are worthy finalists for next Friday. Nevertheless Cas for all their inadequate performances since lockdown have not been overwhelmed by these two te...

Re: Joel Tomkins
How about awarding clubs one point if an opponent is sent off for foul play and the team having the player sent off having one point deducted. That should do it.
