Re: Hull v Wire

Well that was novel. Sacking the coach and announcing it live on Sky even before telling the players  Serious lack of class from Pearson

Re: Saints up next

Hopefully all the armchair/ keyboard warriors will get down and give the lads our support. I love how people criticise those who don’t attend every game as “armchair fans” or “keyboard warriors”, rather than think about why they don’t attend. I don’t live locally and work in the week so Thursday/Fr...

Re: Saints up next

Hopefully all the armchair/ keyboard warriors will get down and give the lads our support. What defines the above? I think we all know that particularly on the unofficial cas Facebook pages there are large numbers with an awful lot to say but never attend games. I am simply trying to say, if you ar...

Re: Saints up next

Should be a great game I think, and having home advantage we have a chance. I’m looking forward to it and I echo what others have said. No excuses this week we need a big turn out and this should be a gate approaching 10 thousand. Hopefully all the armchair/ keyboard warriors will get down and give ...

Who's Jimmy Cracken ?
He’s best mates with Ronnie Pickering :) in all seriousness though whoever he is, if he works for Cas and is leaking information to someone posting it on an open forum, he maybe needs to keep his gob shut.

Re: Most overrated all time Super League XIII

George/Tom Burgess. Both in steady decline for the last five years. Poor engines, full of mistakes/ penalties, soft in defence and always injured. Good at getting contracts though, George is on an absolute fortune at Wigan.

Re: 2020 Predictions

Very early doors and as Maurice Bamford always used to say the first five rounds are the “silly season” where you get more than a few shock results. However looking at these predictions many have Hull and Wire finishing high up the table in front of us. Are any of you seeing anything different in Hu...

Re: Powell’s Magic Touch

Jacks preference was James Lowes. It was Gill that dug his heals in and persuaded him that Powell was the man. Certainly Gills best achievement in his rein at Cas. He did make one almighty howler though at the end of his tenure didn’t he?

Wigan were nowhere near full strength. Burgess, Powell, Manfredi, Gildart, Greenwood, Flower to name five.
Burgess, Manfredi, Greenwood, Clarke and Bullock all could have played but not selected. That’s not our problem, Lam picked what he thought was his strongest line up.

Re: TODAYS WIN

Outstanding win full of pride, passion and quality when needed. I wish you could bottle that feeling you get after a big win like that. One of the occasions it’s unfair to single out any players because to a man they were all first class. Well done boys!

Re: Next up Wigan

Last time we played Wigan the two young grubs Partington and Smithies embarrassed and ridiculed our pack. I expect our forwards to be really fired up for some retribution on Friday (legally of course). Can’t wait for this one, think it has all the makings of a classic. Just hope we can get a few bod...
