The 8s Predictions

So I've had a quiet hour at work so thought I would run my predictions for the Super 8s and Middle 8s. I know a lot can change due to form and injuries but this is what I came up with Super 8s 1. Cas 52pts 2. Leeds 38 3. Saints 35 4. Wakey 34 5. Hull 33 6. Wigan 33 7. Salford 26 8. Hudds 23 Looks ha...

Re: Views on jaded players

mike mckmeeken dont look jadded to me looks like hes going from strength to strength and cant wait to get back out on field Not too sure about that, I like Mike and think he has come on leaps and bounds in the relatively short space of time at the club. However watch the break Scott Grix makes last...

Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities

Looking at the 8s Format and how great we look at home we should have the LLS sewn up by round 2/3 leaving plenty of time to get people back match fit/raring to go come home semi final play off time. As for the rest of the league it seems you need about 38 points to make the top 4 on average over th...

last nights Wigan team was like watching their second team, they seem to have more injuries than we had last year I have no love for Wigan but it would be wrong to wish injuries on any team, BUT TONGUE IN CHEEK when watching the Hull V Salford match tonight a few bruised ribs would not go amiss , C...

Re: End Of Season Run In

By a bit of messing about with predictions I reckon we need 3/4 wins from 6 to be sure of top spot going into the Super 8s and then 3/4 wins from 7 to Win the Hub Cap. I know from watching lots of interviews with DP he blocks up the games and then resets. I would imagine that the Wire game is the la...

End Of Season Run In

Just looking through fixtures for each team and they seems to be some very interesting weeks coming up for the top of the table. Particularly looking at the games of teams around us at the top We have 4 home games and 3 away before the split. However we only play Wire who are currently outside the t...

Re: Cook/Adz

AND Wire beat Hudds
AND when they play the cup weekend it ends in a draw and they both miss out on their potential end of seasons targets by virtue of this drawn game!!

RFL again proving their worth by upsetting 85% of people in the game at the highest level.

Re: Greg Eden

I don't see it happening, but any of the second rowers currently in the England system and the ones to come back would fit nicely to that left edge. McMeekan Whitehead Currie will no doubt be involved Back row of the pack is very very very strong. Where I have always believed we have been let down a...

Always thought he looked one of KRs best players over the last few seasons. Good addition to the squad and can only get better with more game time and general time around the squad

Re: 19 for Friday

To me we should probably rest Hardaker over Roberts this game and then vice versa on Monday if they are both to be believed to be not quite 100% Widnes Roberts Monaghan Minikin Shenton Eden Holmes Gale Lynch McShane Sene-Lefao Larroyer McMeekan Milner Cook Massey Springer Millington (Play low minute...

Re: Tom Holmes

No way, If Roberts is fit he must play 80mins per week. Holmes has and will continue to wait and then be ready for a full time role when he has to be. The kid is young and we have no need to sling him in week in week out if Roberts is fit.

Im really glad that people are noticing what Nathan brings to the team. He is that steady calm influence and will fill Lynch' shoes aptly when he retires. Every team needs these type of players and in Lynch, Massey and Oggy we have 3 of the best.

Same as last year?

If the RFL play to the same system and fixtures as last year we would end up with a schedule as follows. As the RFL aren't very bright I don't think this will be far off Week 1 - Away to HULL FC Week 2 - Away to CATALANS Week 3 - Home to WIGAN Week 4 - Home to WIDNES Week 5 - Away to SAINTS Week 6 -...

Re: injuries

Is there only me that would keep millo at stand off? think apart from Tom Holmes he looked much more comfortable than Rocky. And I also believe Rocky to be a better fullback than standoff. We still had in my opinion 7 first choice 17 players out on Sunday and then Lynch went off Dorn Shenton Webster...

Re: 19 for hkr

Been used before as a tactic of Powell but I would look at a strong bench and weather the storm for the first 15-20. HKR will be all out to prove a point and feel if we just weather the first period we could run out very handsome winners. Agree with others that Solomona on the Wing for me. Can only ...
