we laboured to a win against a middling Championship side, I don’t rate our chances one bit against a decent SL team

Re: Salary Cap
In terms of ‘gambling’ the only person doing that as far as I can see is Jepson and he’s an astute businessman and made the decisions he did with his eyes open. Do the terms ‘astute businessman’ and ‘investing’ in a professional sports club belong in the same sentence? usually a heart over head dec...

Lingard will be asking for 100% effort for the full 80 to keep the losing margin below 30 today

Re: Friday its Huddersfield
The effort should be, regardless of talent/ability and whilst fans will accept a lack of skill/quality, they will not accept a lack of effort. It was telling in Lingard’s after match interview the amount of times he mentioned effort and how they’d been working on effort in training, he didn’t say i...

Yes about a week before, ie during the sham coach appointment process, if you think Lingard didn’t have a say or an opinion on the Hooley signing fair enough I beg to differ.covid tiger wrote: ↑08 Mar 2024, 23:35 Hooley was signed before Lingard got the Job as head coach by Wilson!!!

Am gonna put this out there, slate me if you want. I feel lingard is also out of his depth being a SL coach. Sorry but these players brought in are not no where near SL players. Who’d have thought… The very fact that Lingard must have thought Hooley would make a SL fullback having coached him at Ba...

Re: Friday its Huddersfield
They beat Leigh first game of season but I take your point, the worst most uninspiring group of players in all my time watching Cas. When we had those few seasons in the Championship we had far more classier players.
