We have nothing to appeal to players coming on.
I assume they thought Maguire on name alone would be the honey pot but clearly not. What bargaining power do we have?

Cannot attract players from a shallow pool.

Not impressed from what I have seen so far. The playing squad, as we all agree, is poor though. Would anyone get much more out of these? Powell? Lingard?
The only way Maguire goes is if we have a better replacement available and signed up. Otherwise utterly pointless and costly.
