Re: Evalds
Rankin can go for me not quick enough from full back, not big enough in centre and not good enough in the half back position. His money AND quota spot could and should be used for a better player. No idea where some people have got the idea he can play at centre. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him play...

Re: Signings
When I heard the news about Evalds I wondered whether the rumours were true about him leaving. As mentioned previously and many times before on here, many clubs are talking about this kid

Re: Signings
Just read an interview by his Uncle on twitter and he confirms he's now full time training with first team? Heard before all this that he had a number of offers on the table though, Fullback aint e?

Re: Signings
Any idea which players are DEFINITELY leaving. It's not possible to have an idea of something definitely happening. All we know is who is out of contract. Some will leave through choice if they get a better deal elsewhere, some will not be retained by the club because we replace them, and some will...

Re: Minimum wage cancelled
I don’t think the 15k is the issue, it’s lads possibly starting to train and play on far less, even as low as 3/5k I was reading

Minimum wage cancelled
What's the thoughts on Minimum wage been cancelled for the young boys?
A chance to get their foot in the door or a decision verging exploitation ?

Reserves Cancelled
I see the reserves season was officially cancelled yesterday. Is this a sign of further cancellations to come, or possibly a way of freeing up players for first team games should the speculated option of playing 2/3 games a week happen? Whatever happens I just hope decisions are made with the player...

Re: Meet the directors of Tuesday
i went to the meeting and have posted in the new ground or not thread. regarding the no AGM, instead they are having a more informal share holders meeting where questions can be asked. despite it being advertised that ian fulton would be attending he wasn't there due to illness. not sure if i shoul...

Re: How are we going to help the club survive?
Whilst each Club is in the business of providing rugby to watch, at the end of the day they are a business. As harsh as it may seem, like many businesses, airlines in particular, are laying off staff or asking them to take unpaid leave. The same would have to apply to RL clubs. whether our sponsoro...

Re: Saints up next
Agreed. He's been there twice already this season and played against Widnes pre season. Heard lots about him, good pedigree too. Did he come all the way through at Castleford from Scholarship?

Re: Meet the directors of Tuesday
I think that was the Q and A the club did through the website rather than a meeting. Sadly location and work mean I can't get to them now. In terms of what was said at Meet the Directors from what I have read briefly on Facebook, there is a plan to put more seats in at Wheldon Road should Axiom be ...

Re: reserves
My thought are that as a pro club we should be scouting local amateur sides to bolster our reserve side rather than looking at lower league clubs. This would give opportunities to local lads and maybe unearth some talent that might benefit from pro coaches and help progress de elopment of amateur c...

Re: Predictable and average...
Whilst I would never say rankin is a world beater, he has made one or two decent breaks so far this season and I'm sure he's assisted in some tries. No doubt the stats will prove either way? Having said that, he was guilty of at least two poor final passes the wingers of which one was a walk over f...

Re: 18S
our young tigers go down to a good Warrington side 36-20 i think this was the score ,we have some good prospects coming through how did bailey hodgson go mate. We went down to watch. Against a strong older Warrington game the boys did really well. Had them well rattled first half. Man of the Match ...

Re: Meet the Coaches.
Was much mentioned about the young lads at the club? Seems for once we have quite a few lads that could potentially come through?

Re: reserves
I can see us having a decent Reserves team once we get over our current injuries. Likes of Hall, Hodgson and Turner I would think will be regular reserves.

Re: Rankin
I've heard alot of talk regarding a young full back coming through at Cas that rumour would suggest could be making his debut very young? Anyone else heard anything about the lad?I believe he's Josh Hodgson's younger brother?
